Movie: Walk the Line

Anyone seen this one yet? Thinking about seeing it, but the cost of seeing a movie for me is considerable.

2 Tickets: 15.00
Babysitter: 20.00
Dinner(we are hiring a babysitter, may as well) 35.00-40.00

So, around 70 bucks...anyway looking for reviews, opinions or general comments.

i want to see it, but will probably wait till it comes to the $2 theater in a few months... Big time Cash fan.
 
i'd like to see it too. but it takes a lot for me to venture to the theater. went to see batman begins but dammit, it's batman.
 
I may venture out for JC...
 
Heard from a friend that it wasn't all that great. He said the storyline didn't really define Cash and how his musical talents evolved or were influenced.

I'll probably see it when it hits DVD.
 
Good to know bioman, I've been disappointed by these overpirced movies as of late. The last good movie I saw was Crash

I watched crash last night actually, very good movie. As for walk the line, Ive heard many positive reviews on it, ill probably see it once I get some more money.
 
They were filming it while I still lived in Memphis, and the people that were involved in the production were very close to the roots of Memphis. I suspect it will be very good.
