Milk thistle dosage??

I am wondering what dosage of milk thistle to take with my upcoming sd cycle. I am only asking becuse i have read so many different replys, some say 400mg, others have said 2000mg a day?
I have milk thistle pills and they are 200mg tabs, if i were to take 2000 mg a day that would be 10 caps, that seems a bit much..

I will be starting sd at 20mg ed. btw i have also read some people don't bother taking milk thistle becuse it hinders gains, please help
 
I am taking 2000mg ed. they sell 1000mg caps at walmart for 6$. I also had the 275 but then counted up the 12 pills a day and decided to get the 1000's. I have never heard anything about hindering gains. To be honest I would rather not gain an extra 2 pounds and not piss blood or whatever. You choose if you want a liver or to be a little bigger. Every log I have read the user had some sort of liver protection and 90% have contained millk thistle. Good Luck. By the way, why start at 20mg ed. Are you over 205lbs now. If not try to 10mg for a week then bump.

Well i'm about 201 but i ran a few cycles of 1ad/4ad and had almost no gains until i uped the dosages to 600mg/900mg ed. So i was just thinking if i started higher on this cycle i could yield more results, but let me know your opinion would be most helpful.
 
I have tracked alot of cycles of only 10mg first week with around 6lbs gains. That is pretty huge in only 7 days (legally per say). I plan on going up to 20mg after a 5 day trial. I myself am at 190lbs. so I started at 10mg on monday and am planning on heading up to 20 on Saturday. Just wanted to know if there was a specific reason as you already did a cycle at 10mg and did not get the results you were looking for. Keep us posted. Good Luck!

Honestly, any amount of a liver aid is better then none. At what point does it stop becoming effective, I honestly dont know. I guess I need to do a little reseach and get back to this thread.
 
you'll be ok at 600-800mg a day but if milk thistle is the only liver protectant you're using, you might bump that up to 1200-1500mg/day

Guys, make sure your milk thistle is satndardized, 80% Sylimarin extract is the most potent I have seen so try to get those.
