This my first post here but I've been on this forum for a couple of years. I love it you guys are the most knowledgable and honest.

I'm sixteen about to max tomorrow and the rest of the week. Oh and I'm pretty experienced lifter(about 5 years and 3 serious years of experience)

Maxing on power clean and hang clean-tomorrow, bench and squat-wednesday and dead lift-Thursday

So I've maxed 285 bench, 250 power clean, 325 squat and the rest I haven't maxed on before, but all of those felt easy and when I went higher I couldn't get it anymore.

So I'm just curious what are some tips of thing I can do today and the next couple days to get the most out of my maxes (and I'm trying to impress are new football coach that we got last week)

Any tips will be appreciated a lot!!!!!!

No real tips this far out other than staying rested, fed and hydrated. You've already built up the strength. Do you know what your warmup sets will be to your 1RM?

I usually don't do like the certain % like some

But I follow this article I read about maxing out your pns and cns

So I do 135x6 165x3 185x2 225x1 235x1 255x1 then I go above what I can Max then go down by myself and then have a spot up. The. I but on what I want to max then take 2 and half min break. Then 1 heavy heavy shrug right into instant max

I swear by the shrug when I learned that maze went up 20 pounds instantly

So I bench 295 and power clean 258(use rubber plates so it came out weird)

I have another question. For maxing dead lift should I use sumo or conventional. I been training using both so form is good on both. I not sure which I'm stronger at the feel the same to me. But for maxing what do u prefer
