Male Teenage Steroid Use Vs Female Teenage Birth Control

This is an honest question and I'm just looking for real answers, I've been curious for a couple years. It's bad for a teenager to use steroids but it's okay for girls to use birth control, why is that? I don't really know how birth control effects the hormones so this could be an obvious answer for everyone else. I'm just curious about if there's an honest comparison or not. Is it because the high dose steroids require?

By "OK" do you mean legal? Either way, anabolic steroids don't work the way birth control steroids work, or for that matter any other steroid (bronchial inhaler, cortisone, etc). The dangers of anabolic steroids is that they [can] shut down your natural production of certain hormones and you end up like a fat depressed crying blob.

So while these all are steroidal (hormone manipulation) anabolic steroids are different.

Every Gender should have the right to consume their appropriate hormones.

The reason it's bad is because it can cause damage and shutdown of natural test production that you might not recover from birth control is reversible and your body will return to its regular hormonal state naturally with anabolic steroids that's not guaranteed and you could mess up hormones growth development etc for life.
