Little help on cutting

Hey,

So I am looking to cut this winter. I am at 5'6" 175lb and sit around 22% bf. I am going to be getting gyno surgery next week and will be out for 6 weeks. So a few questions I have are..

Anyone have any tips for keeping what I have during this time?
- I thought about trying to cut during this time, I am not sure if a specific diet I should be doing? Also, I won't be able to do any workouts for this time.

After recovery, should I continue to cut? Or could I fill into this weight? I want to be around 15% BF. I don't want to get "shredded" but I would like to have a little bit of definition.

Since I won't be able to take/do anything during recovery I want to be prepared for when I can start. So I was trying to plan out what to take to help either cut, if that is what I should do or if I should just bulk up more then cut? But a slow bulk?

I have taken many things to include M-LMG(1st cycle, gave me gyno), Epi, M-Sten, S-Drol, H-Drol, etc.. But never really took anything for cutting. Just trying to see what would be the best for cutting. Any suggestions on diet tips and what to take would be great. The research on dosage I can do, and I have my CS and PS planned out.

Thanks.

You have now entered the rabbit hole.

Welcome to hell with the rest of us.

Good luck on your decision. Even if you make the right one, you will second guess it into oblivion and quickly change directions only to reassess again and shift gears to prepare for another premature decision which will end up being cut short due to a refocus and follow up with a new track that will lead you to a re-evaluated plan that won’t be followed to fruition because of a goal change that will abruptly do a 180 only to redirect.

Bwaaaaahahahahahaaaaaaaa!

Basically, after surgery you are at your starting point.
I wouldn't overthink anything. When you are healed, focus on a good balanced nutrition and a progressive workout. A few month after that, make a decision.

Ha, yeah I have done that many times. I usually just stick with normal M-Sten and be happy with it. Works for me, has done its job, and would rather do it again than hunt for something else. And its cheap.

Yeah I will have to spend about a month or two to get back close to my normal lifts. But I am mainly trying to plan now so I can be prepared instead of doing this when it is time.

After your layoff, and I’ve had more of those than I can count, do a heavy hypertrophy-based bulk. Get all your tendons strong and primed for several months, and then run a good cycle for size. On the layoff, I tend to drop my carbs good and low and attempt to gain no body fat so I can go right into a bulk after.

Awesome that sounds good. What weight should I bulk up to? And we talking a lean slow bulk?

Also, should I go with intermittent fasting? Or should I just do macro diet and make sure I get my macros for dieting? Should I go off of IIFYM.com or another percentage scheme?

Until January 2019 do intermittent fasting. Then lean bulk til August 2019. Now comes the maintenance phase until 2020. From January 2020 until 15th of May 2022 is cutting time, eating only pickles.

This is good. But he needs something a little bit more long term..

The compund has nothing to do with cutting. Caloric deficit and cardio. Running low dose test e during you recuperation will help you hang on to some muscle.
