Is the Black Market for AAS going to disappear, thanks to COVID-19?

So,
I recently came across this article from the AP.

Coronavirus is dealing a gut punch to the illegal drug trade, paralyzing economies, closing borders and severing supply chains in China that traffickers rely on for the chemicals to make such profitable drugs as methamphetamine and fentanyl.

One of the main suppliers that shut down is in Wuhan, the epicenter of the global outbreak.

Associated Press interviews with nearly two dozen law enforcement officials and trafficking experts found Mexican and Colombian cartels are still plying their trade as evidenced by recent drug seizures but the lockdowns that have turned cities into ghost towns are disrupting everything from production to transport to sales.

Because there are very little to no black market shipments of raw material from China and India, what is going to happen to the black market homebrew AAS market? This is not just about rec. drugs. All of those chemicals from the factories that are now shuddered.

What are your thoughts?
 
This isn't the first time a pandemic has occurred you know. AAS have been around through all kinds of bullsh*t, and will continue to be around for the foreseeable future.
 
I ordered from my domestic UGL last night. They had most stuff in stock (they always have the odd thing out of stock) and it appeared no different to normal.

I like to have a years worth on hand just in case as I could see how this could start to affect prices and supply chains but I very highly doubt it would be significant. Chinese factories are already opened back up. Shipping is still going, just disrupted. Nothing will really change imo

I was born in 1958, seen a lot of stuff, I've never seen anything like this....there is nothing that has happened previously to compare covid19 to.

don't fool yourself, this virus is a gamechanger!!!

I agree, I don't anything is going to change. The middle man suppliers seem to be fully stocked, the online sites are still shipping fast and prices have not gone up. They mass produce Soo much stuff that a few months of this should not change anything

The virus has definitely changed a lot of things but unless it keeps going on for the rest of the year I can't see supplies getting scarce

just in case I have been stocking up.
 
I could see it impacting in the near term, but things will eventually get back to normal-ish. In any case, this is why I always keep 12-16 months stock piled.

based on everything else I've seen happen in my lifetime I would agree that things will get back to normal---but I have never seen anything close to covid19 and in particular the government response to it. I've seen several eipidemics/pandemics but never anything like this. I see the US cracking down on goods and particularly chemicals coming out of china.
 
Stop this bullshit that all raws come from China. A lot yes but not all of it and far from it. This is a multi billion industry and its never going away there is litterally zero concern to have about that.

There's a few countries that are a big supplier of raws and lots of the companies/ugls that produce the stuff have shop set up in multiple other countries to distribute.

My buddy ordered stuff from a well known site that's based outside the us and it shipped from Florida, the time before it shipped from Uruguay or something like that lol

Lol exactly! My two main supplier in Canada make their own raws and another one gets their raw from Iran or something.
 
If the demand goes away for some reason, then yes it may slowly disappear.

The likelyhood of that happening barring full blown SHTF scenario is almost non-existent.

Exactly... and it’s going to be quite the opposite since people get scared the demand will be much higher than usually and people will just stick up a ridiculous amount of gear and drugs.

This is being made into a game changer. I really don’t think it would be like this if a Democrat was in the White House. Not because of the leadership, because of the media!
