The cloudiness COULD be a sign of bacteria from cross-contamination. Certain bacteria can grow very rapidly if you don't use "sterile technique." I my self would add heat just to be safe. JMO..

I always use sterile technique.

Sounds like water/suspension in there. I'd say it's fine. But it is easy to be safe in this case.
