^^^ That seems about right. There are tons of omega options out there as well. Controlled Labs has a good one.

Spread throughout the day (avoid pre/post-workout) for inflammation
Aim for 2-3g EPA/DHA

For me 1-3g per day. Minimum 1g. 2-3g if on cycle.
Dosing like; breakfast: 2 caps, lunch: 2 caps, bed time: 2 caps.

2-3 total grams of EPA/DHA as the plasma saturation dose is 3 grams.
 
OP, I wouldn't worry so much about timing. Just take the fish oil whenever works best for you (I usually split the dosages up to avoid Fish Burps..haha).

As far as amount/dosage, I'd recommend targeting 2-3g DHA/EPA/day.

Unless you are getting this amount from your diet, I'd recommend on targeting this amount everyday.
