homemade pre workout drink

First off Ive tried alot of different pre workout supps, from the lame like nanox9, gakic, etc to some good ones like white flood, superpump 250, shock therapy/storm, green mag/purple wraath combo, shotgun, and i just picked up betancourt bullnox androrush because it had not only no boosters and energy boosters but a small amount of "testosterone boosting" ingredients, I like it so far but I dont like using the same product week in and week out I like to mix it up depeneding on what my workout is, cardio or no cardio you get the idea. so I decided to buy a bunch of bulk stuff from nutra and come up with my own little pre workout blend.
tell me how this looks guys, I know theres been a multitude of posts on this topic but i wanna see what you guys think about mine.

750mg krealk
2.5 g mono
3g beta alanine
2 g aakg
1.5g arginine ethyl esther
500mg betaine
750 mg alcar
250 mg bPEA
crystal light pack for flavor or one of those green tea stick pack things usually the lemonade tastes good with the blue raspberry flavor from lg bcaa for some reason
i scoop bcaa+eaa lg also for flavor and benefits of aminos of cource
3 g citrulline malate
700 mg cissus (Just the bulk from nutra)
a little bit of inositol (Niacin)
and then I take two 1000 mg vit c chewies
oh yeah and yesterday i picked up some GMS so I decided to test it out and find a correct dosage for me so I started off with 1 gram today , hopefully this isnt too much for first use I heard it gives some people some super dumps like another product that rhymes with super dump. I have a pretty strong stomach and have never experienced any problems with any of these products so I hope this one doesnt prove otherwise, Lemme know how this could be improved or if it looks solid and what not

A very good post. Nutra offered to give me a pre-work out drink forumla.

I can't use most pre-work out because my physcian is unhappy about the use of creatine. There is not alot to do but comply because they are in charge of blood test referals. The turn around on a blood test here is quick, you just go in the next morning for the test and get the result in 2 weeks. Things like liver function, cortisol levels really handy. I'm getting a bit of ketosis (protein to carb ratio way too high) right now, so I'm going to have to keep a check on the creatinin levels.

Basically most pre-workout drinks use creatine. Purple Wraath (what I live on) is the exception.

I have not heard back from Nutra but I'll post the reply here when they do.

2.5 gr mono BUMP 5GR
3g beta alanine
2gr aakg BUMP 3GR
1.5g arginine ethyl esther (if you can stomach it whatever)
500mg betaine
750 mg alcar BUMP 1GR
250 mg bPEA (IDK WHAT THIS IS?)
crystal light pack for flavor or one of those green tea stick pack things usually the lemonade tastes good with the blue raspberry flavor from lg bcaa for some reason
i scoop bcaa+eaa lg also for flavor and benefits of aminos of cource (GOOD)
3 g citrulline malate (GOOD)
700 mg cissus (Just the bulk from nutra) (TASTES HORRIBLE AND DOESNT MIX)
a little bit of inositol (Niacin) (DONT SEE A POINT)
and then I take two 1000 mg vit c chewies (DROP TO ONLY 1000MG)

thanks for the input and btw bPEA =phenylethylamine im sure i spelled it wrong but anyway i dont use that everyday i lift; just when i need extra focus or feel like im out of it. but ill make those changes and see how it goes

Yea here's what my new pre-workout drink looks like because I do not want any caffiene bc I work out later in the evening....

5gr Creatine Mono
5gr AAKG
6gr GMS (work my way up to that....add 1gr each day)
3gr Taurine
2gr Tyrosine
3gr Beta-Alanine (will add when im done with x-factor)

The drink looks great. Are you sure you need that much vitamin C?

For antioxidant, immune system support and reducing free radical levels, according to Nutrient Timing (p. 44) vitamin C is recommended to be dosed at around 30-120mg preworkout. But it's water soluble, so more isn't so bad.

im about to run out of alcar and I was wondering if anyone has tried carnitine tartrate? if so what was your experience compared to alcar? or if anyone knows which one is better?

My recipe is very similar though a little lower in the quantities and I use ALCAR instead of tyrosine and Taurine. What is GMS by the way and what does it do? I am still in "beta testing" and tweaking the drink to get it just right. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! :dunno:

Glycerol Mono Stearate, it's supposed to elevate blood plasma volume & boost your ability to retain intra-muscular fluid (water). Make sure you drink a lot of water with it to get full effects. Works great with Creatine.

ALCAR is solid. I used it last summer to lean out and it was so-so. I still have 100gr of it. Maybe I'll throw it in to mix until I run out.

This thread has potential for some good input so i'll bump it.

I like to keep it very simple.

Citrulline Malate = 6 grams
Beta Alanine =3-4 grams
BCAAs = 15-20 grams

all bulk powders from N.P. or NOW Foods.

Occassionally i really like adding Creatine Mono. I found a great place here in Oz. Very cheap and the best quality.

I sip on a whey / gatorade shake and water during the workout. I've never had a bad workout on this stack. It's nice when you finally find something that works.

I have used ALCAR before but found it works best on an empty stomach.

Keep the answers coming though.

Me too. I think it really helped on my cut last year and i will use it again in the future before fasted cardio or evening cardio.

Your stack looks similar to what a friend of mine used before soccer games when Beta-Alanine first came out and loved it.

6gr Cit Malate
4gr Beta-Alanine
10gr Creatine Mono

Said after about 2 weeks he felt like he could run for days. So you know he was already in peak shape before adding this drink.

cant forget to add your bulk 1,3,4 carboxy or however you spell it

I do as well take this with mine but make sure you have no carbs in your drink if you take this or its effectiveness is diminished.

bulk cissus is good too for the achy joints and i use lg bcaa or a 0 cal green tea packet to hide the flavor of it all or both

I love BA now and especially the tingles. Never thought i'd get used to it but i'm disappointed when i don't get them.

Citrulline is the only thing i can stack with BA that doesn't stop the tingles. Anything else i add, BCAAs, Creatine, Arginine etc, i don't get them.

Once i ran out of Citrulline and the length of my workouts suffered dramatically as well as my energy levels for the rest of the day. It's definitely a staple for me and even though it's expensive, it's money well spent.
