HGH Help

Hey guys,

Been working out on and off over the years, but hardcore for the past year and a half. I'm following a 5x5 type workout 4 days per week with 1 day off in between and I eat clean. Diagnosed with Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism about a year ago, which I'm on meds for, but it's nearly impossible to lean out and/or pack on muscle. My buddy swears I need steroids, but I don't want to go that rout. However, Hashimoto's blunts HGH hormone and increases insulin sensitivity so I'm thinking of trying something to increase HGH. Any thoughts?!? Thanks!!

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with Hashimotos and apparently finding a useful doctor for it is incredibly difficult for her. Keep us updated with what winds up working for you.

Thanks guys. Yes, I've been on 100 MCG of levothyroxine for the past year and the dr. says my levels are perfect, but I'm still not seeing any changes......What's the next step?

You've got t4 all set then. I suppose you could find a way to work with t3 or t2. I've seen a couple supplements around here that play with them, but I would absolutely get them endorsed by your doctor.
It takes some people a few years to recover from a "kinda slow" metabolism. To recover from a metabolic issue that has a name seems like it ought to take at least as long. At least you're starting out at a decent weight.
What's your clean diet like? Calories, macros?
