Hematocrit and anabolics

I know one can lower Hematocrit levels by donating blood. My question is, for levels that are high due to running compounds will the level gradually come down over time on it’s own after the compound is ceased?
 
Short answer is yes, they will decrease gradually once the substance is quit.

I believe the elevated levels come from increased erythropoietin which are in turn, increased from your substance use.

After how long could one anticipate hemotocrite to stabalize to normal levels after say a 15 week test cycle? I know everyone is different but just generally speaking
