Glutamine shelf life?

I have two containers of glutamine. 1 is over a yr. old plain. The other exp. 06-06 and has MSM, but has been open a while. Are we talking potency issue or just plain garbage at this point? Hate to just throw away, but will if no good. Any advice? Thanks.

IMO, it was garbage from the day it was purchased. Glutamine is worthless. Just eat food.

How about no glutamine period, not enough will survive the gut, and it synthesized by the body. If you're a burn or wound patient then it's good stuff.

BTW, if you want to go ahead and take it that's fine, it won't kill you but the product may lose some potency
