Getting Ripped

Hi Guys, I'm a total Noobie here, but I have a question though.
I've been working out for some time now. I'm 1.82 m, weigh 98 kgs and have 19% bodyfat. I have spoken to some of the guys at the gym and they helped me to set up a good bulking program. I want to start ripping down on my fat, but I dont want to rely solely on using meds and supps to do so. I have been cutting down now for two weeks, but I am not seeing any real results as yet. Does anybody know of a really good cutting program that I can look at that will aid me?

Most people don't go by metric for weight and height around here, you're about 6'6" and weigh 216lbs.
You might want to head to the Weight Loss sub-forum. Oh and your friends have given you a bulking diet but you want a cutting diet, you won't see any fatloss on a bulking diet without some sort of supplementation or added cardio.

Lets start off by having you post your daily diet. We will help you take a look at the foods you are eating and your macronutrient profile and we can go from there. :welcome:

avoid things with sugar added, or made from refined grains. Avoid excess fat, and saturated fat. Eat lots of protein. Cut lifting volume down a little bit, but keep trying for PRs.

Don't starve yourself, you might end up fatter than what you are. Eat a lot of greens, like brocolli(I dont put a limit on those when I cut) choose lean meats, like chicken breasts, boiled in salad, with some olive oil as a dressing, and mrs.dash for spices. Look around, read labels. You will find that choices that look healthy are not as healthy as you might think. Don't hesitate to ask if you are not sure, and post in what you are eating for cutting. We will be able to correct and add suggestions to your plan.

Good luck

Don't expect to see results so fast. Growing impatient can be your harmatia. Give it time. One thing you will learn about the aspect of bbing is that it takes time. Don't get discouraged, just keep at it. But like someone suggested before, post your diet and your workout routine and well can go from there.

I think you meant hamartia.

It's all Greek to me.

Glory to the Greeks. Have you read any of Euripides, Homer, or Virgil?

Haha, yeah 15 years ago. I was making a funny as "it's all Greek to me" means "I don't understand".
