Fragmented sleep on GH

Anybody has any idea why? 4iu, split 1 am, 3 10pm.

Could it be the up regulation in t3??

Only other thing I'm taking is arimistane.

Also, I'm probably overtrained somewhat ...
 
If you’re CNS is taxed and you’re close to over trained i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s that
 
Don’t take your gh in the AM or close to bed man. Litterally the worst time to take it

AM is good for me because I do IF for app 4 to 6h, so I take advantage of the fat burning the GH provides.

Interested though in why it's not a good idea to take it am and close to bed? You are fasted when you sleep so regarding BG regulation it should be a good time to take it.

Yeah, I am really strung out. Need to force myself to mentally relax.

I'm also overdoing it with skate seshions. Skating for 4 to 6h is to much with the bad sleep I've been having.
 
I've just found out that GH really upregulates T4 to T3 conversion. Leading to elevated T3 levels. This could also be a factor in bad sleep. As is probably the overactive REM phase imo.

AM is good... before bed is the absolute worst timing. the body produces HGH in pulsatile fashion throughout the day with the heaviest pulses occurring approximately 2-3 hours after going to bed as you fall into a deep sleep... so for the younger guys who’s own endogenous production of HGH is still at a reasonable level... it takes very little sense to temporarily shut it down with 2iu. The absolute best timing is when you wake up fasted , and usually most people do afternoon or post workout. As another exemple, in the bodybuilding world or athlete in general, absolutely all the coach willl tell you to avoid before bed and 99% of them will say am upon waking up and post workout. I’m at work right now so I wrote that very quickly but I’d be willing to talk more tonight

Just a quick note in regards to nigh time gh pulses. If you are on exogenous GH your natural pulses are non existent.

Go do some research on why all the experts suggest you take it as far away from bed time as possible. Nobody does it there’s some good reason

Whatever the reason, it's not the natural gh release, iz all am sayin : )

just for clarity (for my own benefit) are we talking just for those under 30 or 35?

my understanding was that over 35 then 2iu was likely a significant increase in what the body would produce naturally and therefore beneficial to maximise that sleep time?

along with the post workout meal I always thought was most beneficial for muscle growth and in the am before some form of fasted low intensity activity for fat burning.......

so are you saying that 2iu in a younger guy would not be beneficial pre bed or is there another reason?

I’m saying for bodybuilding goals and also hormonally, you want to avoid before bed growth hormone. It’s a simple concept pretty much everyone knows in the industry I’m surprised jinsu is doubting that when people like more plate more date had 30 mins videos explaining it. Bro, I said two times already, it's not bc of natural GH secretion. Thats all I was not agreeing with. Natural GH secretion is turned off if you are using bodybuilding doses of gh, period. If there is a nother reason why you dont want to use it at nigh, I don't know anything about that and would appreciate any input you can forward.

To me, it seems logical using some of it at night because you have no natural pulses active and thus will be without, or with a small dose, of gh throughout all the night when you want to regenerate the most.

I would also welcome the MPMD video you referenced. In this short video here, he just says what I just said basically:

I also had fragmented sleep last night. Windows banging due to the wind waking me constantly up. Then at last when I managed to fall asleep the damn electric heater caught fire! Waking up to the buzzing sound...

Talk about night time action, but not that of @Whisky 's type 😁

Its lack of feeling stressed out. I would say you may be overtrained like you said, it is one of the more probable causes. Also i cant stop my anxiety sometimes when i am off test.

imho there is a lot to test levels and anxiety. Remember being 16. Daaaaaamn

You sleep better on trt you mean not on cycle?

GH is known for disturbing sleep btw. As is Mk.

Even when i was on 500mg of test my sleep was better than it is naturally (these days, it was better when i was a teenager). Its anxiety. I have trouble with it when i am off test and it gets better when i am on (i can switch off way easier).

But I feel my best on 200-250mg tbh. Great sleep, recovery, calmer, more grounded.

Mk by itself made me sleep in and have vivid dreams. No sleep issues. But...i often ran it with test so it was prolly the test that gave bette sleep and mk made me have more vivid dreams. But i never experienced worse sleep on anabolics, even when i ran low dose tren. Even tpduring that megadose time where i very briefly ran 500 tes 3o mast year and a half ago with crippling anxiety during the day at night i would fall asleep soundly.

Its when i am off everything i cant calm down and sleep lol.


Just like i discovered mk actually doesnt kill my libido as much and its the test that does, as most of the times i ran the 2 together.

It's funny seeing how everybody's brainchemistry reacts differently to aas. By all logic, sleeping on aas should be worse (excluding trt situations), but here you are, sleeping better on cycle and even on tren lawl, makes no sense.

It's because my anxiety is high off test. I feel like a b1tch and have trouble shaking off worrying thoughts.

So even though I have more energy, I can calm down.

But I agree that I sleep and feel my absolute bes t at about 200mg a week.

Have you ever checked free T and DHt at 200mg's?

No. But if i had to guess i would say i am around 1000-1200 total according to bloods i did at other doses. Free idk.

Dht is usually lower compared to using transdermal, also using an AI will increase free t and dht slightly. And I do feel an uptick in mood and energy if i use a tiny bit of aromasin compared to not using any.
