For NY'ers who drink beer...

So, apparently us New York City (5 boroughs) folks who are already being ridiculously overcharged between $6 & $7 for a beer are in for a new beer tax.

Gov. Patterson proposed a new $0.17 cent tax (above the other alcohol state,city,and federal taxes) on each beer, in order to balance the city's budget and make people cut back on drinking.

Right... like he's doing this for the people. Sign the petition at:
