Yeah so the mental part sucked since I had a blue rope TI of the year but the physical part was a joke. Out of our brother flight and us (100 people) I had the highest physical score which was nice since only 2 of us got an extra day town pass. its nice to be going to a different area tho where i have only 1 roommate instead of 45 ;). ill be getting my computer hopefully soon so ill try to start coming here more again..

sifu- my orientation starts may 17th. i was the only one out of 12 combat controllers (out of the 800 graduating airmen) to get a may 17th orientation class date.. the rest got july 19th!

Damn, how'd I miss this?? Anyways, thats awesome bro....keep up the good work, and take care...

welp i am back at the library a week later ;).. i start orientation on monday... its changed a lot and is pretty tough but i definitely cant wait.. after this i get to start airborne, SERE, ATC, and CCS scool so its just another stepping stone.. we have a 2nd lieutenant, master seargent, and a bunch of other nco's in our class which is kind of cool (seeing them getting yelled at ;)). we took the PAS test yesterday and i passed, we were all really worried about it because we came straight out of basic into orientation, the kids we joined up with had been training for 2 1/2 months with the combat control instructors preparing for this! welp next week i will be a week through orientation, ill keep you updated :).. later

To give you an idea of how old I am....

wow okay first off i got my ass completely handed to me at indoc but thats okay im still alive and kicking hehe.. there were a lot of smoke sessions though since we had such a big class, they were trying to bring it down. we started off with 38 and ended up with 24 which actually isn't that big of a drop at all for the numbers they usually get. im off to airborne on the 14th, ATC on july 8, sere around october and then to ccs on february 14th. loooooong road ahead of me but im trying to stick with it. got promoted to a1c today so its always nice to get paid extra.

2g- we didnt have sgt pope as our instructor but i did, however, meet him. right now we have sgt perez, rodriguez, herricks, and nowlin.

congrats bro. airborne is more fun than anything else. especially the first couple hollywood jumps. training is easy and relaxed. 8 minute mile runs...piece of cake. the thing that i hated the most was the saw dust pits...really retarded. 300 people kicking up dust, gets kinda hard to breath after a while...

have fun polishing the drains. nice brass drains...
