Fertility Question

Sup guys,
Im male, 30 y.o, last cycle is about 8 months ago, did proper PCT but having terrible accident and things go down from there. Diagnosed with having low sperm count, thinking to do clomid 50/25 for 6 week & HCG 250-500 iu 2x/week to get my girl pregnant.

Question is can i take other supplements like longjack, tribulus or even branded fertility booster supps like Prime-T (DAA, fenugreek, DIM) ? Is it ok or should i just stick with clomid/hcg and proper diet & lifestyle.

Tyvm in advance :)

There are fertility clinics that specialize in getting your sperm count up and likely would shriek in horror if they saw some of the bro science suggestions on this. Your last cycle was so long ago and with a PCT that it's likely unrelated, or of little relation. Women go on birth control and suppress their natural hormone production for decades and are still almost always fertile when they come off. You got your sperm count checked. What did the specialist tell you to do?

Ty for your replies mate,
There's no such things as fertility specialist (andrologist) in third world countries, endocrinologist focusing with metabolism disorder like diabetics and quite judgy (not only shriek but disgusted) from my experience with them.

I do think my last cycle didn't contribute to this low sperm count and my problem could be long before that since we only tries to conceives last year. Coming off cycle feeling 'normal',all good. Yet after the accident i cant train for 3 month, didnt do proper diet and gaining weight. Feeling like **** and decide to do sperm count test because we haven't conceive and the result is low.

I didnt do bloodwork since i think it's gonna be pointless on my problem and if i go to the fertility clinic most likely they only will prescribe some supps & clomid. Normal doctor here is clueless about this problem and that's not their fault since it's not their expertise. So i left here tries to do what i know (it's broscience :D)

Well I had no problem conceiving and I am a medical worker but this far off from my specialty, I work in critical care. But maybe someone who has been down this path and done the whole fertility clinic thing will have more information for you. I've heard of people icing their balls and taking antioxidants and all sorts of stuff. But they usually do conceive, even if the clinic has to physically inject the sperm into the egg.

That kind of stuff done by gynaecologist known as artificial insemination, that's the last line of fertility care here.

I know these clinic prescribe supps (antioxidant, boron, vitamins and stuff) usually accompanied with clomind, since most likely their knowledge is comparable with broscience (hence the third world), i would just do things that can be done myself and seek other option if things not working.

Thanks for your insight tho

OP, don’t listen to the lunatic, he’s trying to sound smart but have no idea what he’s talking about.

I been in the same boat, I went from “too low to measure” to make my wife pregnant with 8-10 weeks of 25mg Clomid and 4 weeks of HCG 250-500 2x week. It’s no harm in using OTC Test boosters at the same time (I did), they might not do too much but you’ll feel good and in a situation like yours every “feel good” supp helps to stay positive.

Good luck!

Have you done blood work? Your LH/FSH levels matter when building a plan. Also this will help rule out primary testicular failure (rare) as the protocol changes in that scenario.

As for OTC, Tribestan has actual studies supporting its use to boost sperm counts in men that are low.

Yea, last PCT i did 4wk clomid with OTC test booster and regain libido, few to none psychological sides (usually sour mood/temper on clomid) and retain most of my gain.

I will surely add add OTC supps and natty test booster then. TY !

Ah thanks for the info, i didnt see it that way. I'll try checking it and see the resuly may lead.

This guy was trashing my pics in another thread so I tried to get him to post a pic of himself with him holding the date for verification so we could compare side by side and he wouldn't. I asked him like 4-5 times over 2-3 days and nope. I mean, a lot of egg on his face for that, right? So now he's miffed and wants to follow me into other threads calling me an idiot. Put up or shut up.
What does that have to do with the OP’s thread on fertility? Seriously, think about it.

I posted a picture you fvcking idiot, besides, you do understand that a date won’t prove anything, you still wouldn’t be able to verify if it really is me.

In your case you don’t have to worry, you act exactly as dumb as your pictures look so it’s no doubt it’s your skinny fat body in those pictures. It’s really sad that you were on that much drugs and still looked like sh*t, you made those drugs look bad.

Cut out alcohol and start on a multi vitamin, reduce your stress. I changed jobs and my sperm count shot up like crazy. Also if you want to save money you can just go to a sperm lab and not go to a doctor. It cost me 100$ each time

I went to a fertility doctor years ago when we were trying to conceive our first child. I had low sperm count. Doctor told me to reduce stress, get more sleep, not wear tight underwear, and reduce the amount of heat in my genital area during the day while working. Loose breathable underwear help with that. Or no underwear. Obviously if something is chemically off this probably won’t make a difference, but every little thing helps.

I always like that goes to the basic stuff since we're living in this modern world and overcomplicated problems.

Thanks for the heads up and experience !

I rarely drank alcohol (like 3-4 times a year), but yeah. I did volunteer at covid healthcare year back and my health never been the same. Had the nastiest dispepsia episode ever, doing cycles and things go well (dispepsia still remain), then BAM ! PCL partial tear, 2021 is like POV Jackas* episode
