Does oil go bad?

Can't seem to figure out whether or not oil goes bad. I bought a bottle of Cottonseed USP over a year ago. Does this **** expire quickly? I don't imagine it does, but I'm sure someone here must know the shelf-life.

I've kept it stored in a cool dark box.
 
it does , i dont know how long it keeps before it gets rancid but if it has a cotton type cloud sort of floating around in it pich it , if not i'd add 1%ba as a preservative. i hear grapeseed extract also extends the life .
 
what he said. if you add bb or/and ba it will last years. but as cheap as it is I would just get some more if your not sure
 
^^^^ agreed, and to elaborate on the grapeFRUIT SEED extract, (not grapeseed like the oil, there is a difference);)
2% of total volume should signifigantly extend shelf-life.. not to mention add new antioxidant benefits.
