Does Halodrol 50 cause baldness?

Hello to all,

I'd like to know if Haldrol 50 is know for causing baldness. I plan on running 2 a day and ending at 1 a day, over 6 weeks.

Prohormones are known to accelerate balding, but only in men with a genetic predisposition for hair loss. In other words, if you are losing or going to lose your hair, then supplementation with a prohormone which increases testosterone (and the resulting conversion to DHT) can speed up the process, but it is never the primary cause of hair loss.

Thanks. Would a dht blocking shampoo help?

Depends on who you to talk to. In my experience it can help but won’t stop it overall. Had to ultimately go the pharmaceutical route but still use pur d or gold in conjunction.

Have you noticed any regrowth or spots getting less thin with that combination or is it just to stop things from progressing further?

Fina stopped but switched to dutasteride the last year and seen a little regrow this but 100% stopped. Still use pur d or gold daily too.

Thanks. Mine is starting to thin and I haven't decided if I care enough to bother with treating it or just shaving it off eventually.

Dutasteride is the nuclear option. Pretty much blocks most of the conversion to DHT. Much more potent than finasteride. Potentially more severe side effects.

I initially held off because I read the “horror stories” but it’s one of the better decisions I’ve made

All AAS/SARMS can accelerate hair loss. You response will depend on your genetics, the ability of the compound to bind to the AR of the hair follicle, the inherent androgen properties of the compound, and its ability to convert into more androgenic metabolites. HDrol is a variant of TBol and many do not report accelerated hair loss due to it lack of inherent androgen properties, some still report accelerated hair loss however. Blocking production of DHT in the body or scalp is not likely to help with hair loss related to this compound since it is reported to not interact with the 5a-reductase enzyme and convert into DHT. Antiandrogen topical therapy like ru58841 would be best for AAS/SARMS that do not convert into DHT or more androgenic metabolites via 5a-reductase.
