Totally normal. Close grip bench works pecs, delts, and tris. A lot of fantastic bench pressers train exclusively with a close grip until they're 8-12 weeks out from a powerlifting meet. If you'd like to use less pec on your close grip bench presses, move your grip two inches wider and see how that treats you.
Thanks just wanted to check. Has wife stand and feel arms they are getting hit but I can Feel the pecs also...going to train hard push weight hard and make progress make the haters hate!!
