Personally, I love Sesamin. I have used it buy itself and it does promote a greater sense of well being which I am assuming stems from its health benefits. Also, during that time I was not exactly eating very "clean" so to speak but my bodyfat remained steady...what this boiled down to me that Sesamin definitely helps with damage control during "cheat periods." Its effects are subtle at first, but are much more pronounced over time...sort of like a nice steady recomp/maintenance effect.
Buying some Sesamin oil wouldn't work because it's not specifically standardized for lignan(s) responsible for Sesamin's effects, so you would have to consume a s*?!t load of oil to even start to think about getting the same.
If you have never tried it before, you should...at least one bottle, and then judge for yourself. However, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
