Blood work in U.K.

Evening brothers. Does anyone from the UK know where to get blood work done other than the NHS and the costs involved? Also any other info I may need? Thanks

Why not ask your gp?

In the U.K. It's not that easy to say your on AAS/PHs and ask for blood tests as they deem it a waste of National Health Service resources when there are people who genuinely need blood tests for non self inflicted ailments.

I know what you mean as I'm in uk and have never had to ask for a blood test but I think if you're honest then most doctors would approve your request

Thanks. Is it the same as the states with regards to asking for a female panel hormone test?

Both Medichecks and Vitruvian Man have a list of the tests that they offer on their websites. However, with Vitruvian Man you actually go for an appointment with blood sampling and you can ask them about more in-depth tests when you go.

If you ask an NHS GP to refer you for specifically hormone related blood tests they give you a food and lifestyle diary, which you have to do for three weeks.
Then you have to arrange another appointment so that they or a dietician can evaluate your diet and lifestyle.
Then IF they say that your lifestyle and diet is o.k you have to arrange another appointment.
Then you go for blood tests.
Then you arrange another appointment to discuss your results. At which your GP will either say that a 189mg/dl testosterone level for a 21 year old is fine or prescribe you some potassium.

In my experience anyway

Why don't you just tell him that you were silly taking steroids that you didn't fully understand and that you think your hormones are now out of sync, that way he then must refer you for full panel testing.

That was before I even looked inyo or took any "Dark Side" supplements. That was back when I was 21. 189mg/dl is an extremely low level of testosterone, especially for an otherwise healthy 21 year old male. Baseline testosterone is from 300mg/dl+

Thanks and yes I have heard similar stories

Nor me?
Local hospitals as in badger clinics?

No as in proper hospitals. A couple of guys on a forum were saying they bring theirs to the hospital for around £30 which is a heck of a lot cheaper than the online labs. I don't know anymore details than this I'm afraid.
