Blood test came back abnormal high rbc,hemoglobin,hematocric

Hey there guys just had my blood work done and it came back abnormal dr says my red blood celss (rbc) is at 5.83 ,hemoglobin is at 18.0 and my hematocrit is at 51.8 im 31y old male i do workout but dont take any testosteron boosters or any type of steroid just pre workout n vitamins b12,multivitamin,vitamin c,gluecosamine,i did stop working put for about 1month n half for holidays no dieting just alot drinking n eating bad my dr is sending me to hematologist just worried.just a bit worried looking online and reading stuff i dont wana hear about polycythemoa vera n etc just stressing
 
The hematologist would be a better resource than anyone in here as in this place people have been known to take steroids.
Curious as to what your hematologist says.

Your doctor didn't order a theraputic blood donation?
 
No she just sent me to hematologist but from what i seem my numbers are like borderline normal high not super high like others i seen
 
How much B12 are you taking? B12 increases RBC production. Either way, the simple solution is to go donate a unit of whole blood at Red Cross.
 
Im not surebut i wana no if my numbers are extremely high wer i should worry..now i did take an aspirin today n made me feel alot better

You should have a copy of your bloodwork. Are your numbers high according to the ranges posted? How is your BP?
 
Rbc 5.80 hemoglobin 17.7 hematocrit 51.0 ....thats the normal number anything higher then dat is considered high which is not to high
