Assertiveguy, you stated that Ephedrine with Guaifenesin may prevent the Ephedrine from converting to the Methyl form. Guaifenesin is a mild muscle relaxer which in my guess must relax the Trachea. So how can one avoid this? I haven't seen ephedrine without Guaifenesin??
Guaifenesin is not a muscle relaxant but an expectorant; it clears mucous out of the airways while ephedrine is a bronchodilator. They work in concert to make breathing easier for asthmatics. I have never seen them apart either... but there definitely has to be a source for pure ephedrine HCL.
