I have been getting 5 emails per minute since 1pm today and they are all the same email talking about $25 off $75 from staples. I have received over 1600 emails in the last 10 hours of all exactly the same thing but from different email addresses. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Some places have a setting if you email them back saying "stop" or a certain phrase it will cease all emails to you, maybe give it a shot? Or go burn down your nearest staples idk man that's outrageous

Haha if it buzzed for every email I wouldnt have a phone either but I turned that setting off. Ill try the stop reply

If stop doesn't work maybe just check their website get a corporate # and make a call to complain

"STOP" I believe is for text messages, not emails. Are they all from the same domain name?

It sounds like a spam bot. Mark it as junk to get it from going to inbox. I would be leary about clicking any link to unsubscribe to it. You should be able to block that email address that it comes from.

I had something similar (but no where near as many!) happen once. Hardest part was convincing my wife that I had no idea how all that porn got on her laptop.
