I am trying to find some information about caffeic acid. A supplement i liked contained, among other things, a mixture (called procosanoid) of mono-polysaccarides, caffeic acid & citric acid. I contacted the company and was told that this mixture converts to a form of caffeine.
Anybody know?
Caffeic acid is an antioxidant, anti carrcinogen not related to caffeine.
saccarides are sugars as far as I can tell.
And citric acid is 2-hydroxy-1,2,3-propanetricarboxylic acid.:blink:
