eadville running back Journey Brown and DuBois quarterback Matt Miller put on a record-breaking offensive show in one of the craziest games in high school football history Friday night as the Bulldogs outlasted the Beavers 107-90 in Region 5 action.
Brown ran for 722 yards and 10 touchdowns on 30 carries, while Miller threw for 782 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Brown broke the District 10 record of 488 yards set by Harbor Creek's Stephen Blose in 2005 and the state record of 500 yards set by Eastern York's Alex Cooley in 2012. The national record of 754 yards was set by Netcong (N.J.) High School's John Giannantonio in 1950.
