    Like a lot of earlier replies, there's no difference. Cal in/out is what matters in the end. However IF can certainly help adhering to a caloric deficit.

    It certainly comes down to calorie in vs calorie out. However, if you're eating healthy and "clean" it's definitely going to be hard overeating with IF, simply because you must eat so much filling foods in a short time.

    Good thing though, if you're using IIFYM you're likely balancing out eating more on some days with less on others, simply because the constant variations of different foods.
