From all my research...L-carnitine is as good as a placebo. The only form of carnitine that has some use is Glycine propionyl-L-carnitine and that is for increase in power output not hypertrophy.
For cutting which would you say is a more effective fat burner? Or is there another option that's better than both?

Quick way to know if it's spiked or not is if they have an amino acid breakdown on the back of the tub.
Another way is in the "Other Ingredients:" section under the facts panel, if there is another amino acid included in there is a telltale sign.
Perhaps I should've said "natural" max genetic potential - unless you actually believe you can continue to grow each year at the same rate that you could in the first 4 years.
You should have achieved a considerable deal in 2 years of lifting.
Another 2 years is *likely* to lead you to your max genetic potential, just speaking from experience.
From what I've heard (I used to run a nutrition shop and dealers would walk in all the time), guys on average were spending $800-2000/month on gear. Even if guys were buying the useless supplements in addition to their pre/post it still wouldn't come close.
