    I'm still doing good. I still sometimes get a little discomfort, but MUCH better than it was before the procedure. It takes about 6 months to get real improvement, not 6 weeks like they tell you. Still worth it though.

    I went directly to a interventional radiologist. I saw three different urologist and none of them wanted to do anything about the varicocele, a waste of time and money.

    I have no idea if it affected my testosterone or not, since I never had it checked. I didn't have any atrophy though. I had the embolization strictly for pain relief.

    If its not causing any pain, I'd leave it alone for now. Make sure to wear supportive underwear, no boxers. Mine didn't start causing pain until I was almost 30, if that time comes for you I definitely recommend embolization over traditional surgery.

    Almost at 4 weeks... Still have the dull ache down my left leg when I stand for too long or get hot. Still can feel the veins swell when i stand, although not quite as bad as before the procedure. Im not willing to call it a "success" yet. Going for my follow up visit Aug 21st.

    Yeah I'm thinking maybe I just got too hot yesterday, probably don't need to do that again for a little while. What has me confused is the hydrocele I'm getting. It's right over the veins and so far it's only about dime sized. I've never heard of anyone getting a hydrocele with embolization.
