I have heard good things about OxyPro Elite - let me know how it goes for you KungFuBarbie.
  2. The Lean Gains / IF learning and Discussion Log

I'm a coffee drinker so this is good to know. I'm going to try to give it up for a bit of time to see if I notice a difference - although for the first few days people might want to stay away from my cranky ass :) I'm not all for the sodas and energy drinks though as they don't work well with...
  3. The Lean Gains / IF learning and Discussion Log

Haha, good guess. It's no worries though - it's hard to figure it out online - especially when I don't have any sort of picture up (waiting until I see some changes).

    I'm a chic....:wink1: And yes, I am skinny fat...I'm a runner - trying to get solid.
  5. The Lean Gains / IF learning and Discussion Log

I am 5'7", 140-145 lbs (depending on the day, lol). I am cutting. My body fat is about 14% and I would like to get down to 10%. My workout days consist of 1800 calories right now and rest days are 1100. I am on day 3 and getting the protein seems a little easier but still think I am low on...

Thank you - that will be so much easier following the eight hour eating window without overloading on the carbs and obsessing to much on macros - although I will still count calories and macros to see what I am taking in.
  7. The Lean Gains / IF learning and Discussion Log

Ugh I feel so full and I didn't make it through the 8 hours of eating. I calculated over 200 grams of carbs for my workout days - I think this is really high. Is it okay to add in the fats (nuts, avocados), and drop my carbs a bit more?
  8. The Lean Gains / IF learning and Discussion Log

Just started my IF today. I found I could not eat all the food I'm supposed to in one day. My training day calories are about 1800 and my rest day is 1100. Today was a workout day and I don't think I even made it to 1100. Is this normal? How do I get my appetite up? Can I do three...
  9. gf needs help loosing baby fat

I haven't heard of it either. I would say still to stick with a solid and clean diet, get some cardio in, and lift heavy and the results will be seen in a matter of a couple of months. After that I would look at supplements. I use a pre-workout and take bcaa's and glutamine post workout...
  10. Help! I'm skinny fat!

Thank you! I have added this to my list of recipes - shakes do seem to be the easiest way for me to up my caloric intake.
  11. Help! I'm skinny fat!

    :) Thanks ThunderHumper.
  12. Help! I'm skinny fat!

Thank you for the great advice. Based on skin calipers I am 16.5% body fat which I really think is lower than what I am but I'll take it for now until I can get into a Bod Pod. I'm going to work on the appetite and heavy weights. I will let you know how it goes. Thank you again!
  13. Help! I'm skinny fat!

I definitely am not eating enough. What would you recommend for caloric intake per day and protein/fat/carb breakdown? My biggest reason for not eating enough is I don't have a big appetite.
  14. Help! I'm skinny fat!

You all are awesome, thank you so much for the feedback. I am looking forward to taking all of it and putting it to great use. ThunderHumper - lol, thanks! I will post a pic once I get to my goal :) I do appreciate the ego boost though! Thanks!
  15. Help! I'm skinny fat!

I am 5'7", 140 lb female - an avid runner but am skinny fat. I believe I am in the mid 20's with my body fat percentage. Goal - reduce body fat by 10%, gain muscle mass and definition. My diet is clean - I do not eat gluten or dairy, I increased my protein intake and have also started taking a...
  16. gf needs help loosing baby fat

I lost all my baby weight (60 lbs and then some) through strict diet. I dropped all gluten and dairy products and started eating clean. I went from 220 lbs down to 140 lbs in under a year - remind her that it took 10 months (yes, we are pregnant for 10 months) to gain the weight so be patient...
