Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

It's all good, man...nature of the beast. Doctor told me he thought it was a torn ACL at first so I got very lucky. Hope all is well with you!

    Sean's Powerlifting Journey

Lol...home gym will be a lot better! Life is good. Still lifting 4-5 days a week but it is a secondary priority. I'm down 35 lbs and sub 200 for the first time since HS. Ha! [emoji854] Good to see you're doing well though, homie.

    Jim's Powerlifting Training

Have you ever look into the Captains of Crush Grippers? I've recently gotten into grip strength training and those things are pretty gnarly.

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

Shot in the dark...does anyone have any experience coming back from a dislocated knee cap? Mine popped out pretty bad a couple of months ago and it's still not completely healed. Anything from preventative or rehabilitation standpoint would be helpful.

    Sean's Powerlifting Journey

Transitioning from a legit gym to a commercial gym isn't easy, but you begrudgingly get used to it. Good to see you're still at it!

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm still lifting 5-6 days a week but my main focus has been grappling. I've been going in 4-6 days a week for a couple hours so you can say I have been bitten by the BJJ bug hard. Lifts have gone done a little but I have also lost weight. I'm going to start...

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

Thanks a lot for the recommendations herderdude Rodja. I've been implementing these into my training. Big obstacle I'm facing now is that I workout directly before BJJ class. I'm always wanting to leave a little in the tank for the long sparring sessions. Especially my grip. Gi sparring is hell...

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

herderdude if you knew as much about lifting as you do now when you were wrestling, what are some more non-traditional lifts you would incorporate?

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

Things are going well fella's. Had a bad stretch for a bit: stomach virus, severe ear infection, dislocated knee cap, but we're on the up. Lifts are getting back to where they need to be and I now have some cardio going. One thing I can say, I will never again completely neglect cardio. It...

Killn' The Cube: My powerlifting venture begins

Haven't posted here in a bit; don't want to get into the habit of not posting at all again. Training has been going ok. Still feel like I'm getting back into the groove with everything. Bench is the only lift on the rise ATM. Squats have been inconsistent. Narrow(er) stance squatting is a...

    Are Steroids Really The Answer?

How can you say you need steroids to make you feel relevant, then say steroids set you free? Sounds more like you're in shackles. This post is a great example of why most people in their late teens/early 20's take these drugs. They believe they are becoming people's "idols" or that they're...
