    Yep I would say calories are just too high. Diet is fine just decrease amounts a bit. Drink more water and maybe try an HST routine if you have been doing 5x5 for awhile

    Rodja nailed it. Lift heavy as much as you can, but deload when you need to. Deloading = lifting lots of light weight. I usually triple or quadruple my sets and reps when deloading and half the weight. Dont try for PRs all the time, do them at set times, every few weeks or so.
