I’ve been reading the boards on and off forever but have never actually used x-gels or x-factor, this thread and the “favorite single ingredient natty anabolic” thread have sold me on it. DPS has a two pack of x gels for a great price right now too.
For those that had great results - do the...
I agree with this, it has been a staple for me since I first tried it and I don’t even have sleep issues normally. I just found that this improved my sleep quality (both subjectively and on my Fitbit scores) a bit with one cap most nights, I take a couple nights off each week.
A bottle lasts me...
This makes sense…I’ll definitely try this one out at some point but I didn’t have the context from the forum I would definitely ignore a new trib product, a lot of bad stigma there.
Maybe a dumb question and very likely overthinking it, but I wonder if it’d make a difference if you just took less on workout days and more on off days. Something like 500 mg as far away as possible on workout days, and then 1500 on off days.
Not sure if we’ll ever get a definitive answer on this but I’ve always split up my vit C dose - 500 mg first thing in the AM and 500 again before bed, usually work out around lunch so I try to keep the doses away from my workout time.
I know a lot of people say there’s limited evidence vit C...
Interesting, so do you guys like it better with food? I usually do it on an empty stomach closer to bed, I personally sleep a lot better if I don’t eat for the last few hours before bed.
I generally err on the side of taking everything with an emptyish stomach beyond fat soluble vitamins but...
Totally agree with this, I have been doing BP Support XT with my Focus focus XT preworkout and really liking it. Feels like I’m saving money getting a little pump and performance from my health supplements :sneaky:
I just watched this video recently and was going to post it in this thread as well. Not really familiar with Vigorous Steve but I know he has a pretty big following.
The video is more geared towards mitochondria and “feeling young” vs longevity so probably a lot of overlap but not exactly the...
Not sure if it’s actually true but this is what I’ve always heard too, I keep my doses away from my workout when I can. I personally do 500 mg in the AM and 500 mg before bed with zinc (workout around lunch). On off days I’ll take a 3rd 500 mg dose mid-day too.
No idea if this is a good dose or...
Exactly, it definitely works for me even at just one cap. I’ve only ever taken two if I had to work out late at night, that ruins my sleep quality so I avoid it as much as possible. I’ve never taken more than two. Hopefully I’m not hurting Steve’s sales! :censored:
I grabbed a bottle of this for Black Friday because of the posts in this thread, it sounds like something I could definitely use. Thanks for all the feedback in here!
Sorry if this is covered somewhere, I looked through here and googled and didn’t see it - is this something you’d take for acute...
For what it’s worth I seem to get noticeably better sleep with only one cap of Sleep Assist XT - my sleep score on my Fitbit is usually 5-10 points higher when I take it too, for whatever that’s worth…not sure how accurate any of that is.
So not no Melatonin but a smaller dose than taking all...
Sorry, it’s just the salted caramel Impact Whey (their cheapest whey) from myprotein. I get the giant 200 serving bag, it’s 11 lbs.
the caramel is versatile…I’ll put it in my cold brew coffee, fruit smoothies, good with milk post workout too.
my favorite flavor as far as cheap whey goes…I get kinda tired of dealing with tracking all the different codes but I keep coming back for a big bag of their salted caramel a couple times a year.
Not sure if there’s much interest because Api-Plex is already reasonably priced, but any chance of offering Apigenin powder? I’m always interested in powders for my staples just to save a little.
