NEW, First Post, Weak Stomach Muscle Building Supplement?

Number one, ephedrine is not for building muscle. Secondly, we need more information. What is your stomach sensitive to? Typical sensitivities might be gluten or dairy. If that's the case, you might give a non-dairy based protein source a try, such as pea protein, and see if that helps...

    Super-easy Protein Brownie

I'm thinking it could do well with some cocoa powder, stevia, and cinnamon. I'm going to experiment.

    Super-easy Protein Brownie

Ha ha -- I decided to try this. Beware, it will rise on you, so pay attention or it could explode in your microwave! I tried it with Chocolate Nutrapro -- not bad. Will experiment with other flavors.

    Cooking steak / red meat

Oh Jesus. I am an attorney in the field of foodborne illness law, so this stuff is my forte. You have not worked up an immunity to E. coli or Salmonella. You cannot tell a single thing from visually inspecting or smelling beef. The only way to ENSURE that beef is bacteria-free is to cook it...

The mental aspects of anabolics, supplements and training...

I work out alone too, but I would suggest working out with someone stronger than you at some point. If you both know what you're doing, but can compete with one another it can be pretty fun/inspirational.

The mental aspects of anabolics, supplements and training...

I can sum it up in one sentence: Your intensity at the gym will dictate your lifting results. I truly believe that, and it's amazing to see how low most people set their limits.

    Supplement Choice?

Strengthens and tones huh? I love the term "toning muscles" -- what an oxymoron. The only reason someone doesn't have "toned" muscles is because they are carrying fat on top of their muscles. I've dated girls who had nearly no muscle, but were "toned" because they also had no fat. Anyway...

You Know You're a Powerlifter When......

When you're too fat to call yourself a bodybuilder? I kid I kid. My routine is more powerlifting than anything else these days -- I don't even do arms anymore. Arnold talks about the foundation with his body he was able to build by training as a powerlifter at the beginning of his career in...

    Pullovers affecting ab recovery?

Your abs are not going to elongate from pullovers. In my opinion, you may be over-emphasizing your ab workouts. At the very least, always save them until the end of your session (after pullovers). In addition to your lower chest, pullovers are one of the few exercises that will really work...

What do you mix your DAA powder with?

Man, I have not had those -- maybe I will have to try just to say I've done it. Sulbutiamine definitely has that lingering taste going on. Depending on what I've tried to mix it with, it's all I can do not to puke while drinking it -- some mixers just amplify the horrible taste.

What do you mix your DAA powder with?

It really doesn't taste that bad -- just tangy. I usually have it with a scoop of chocolate whey protein -- it's do-able. If you want to taste something REALLY bad, try straight up sulbutiamine powder.

    A question regarding ''pump''

x4 What Rodja said. Also, why are you doing flat bench and incline w/ both barbell and dumbbells? Also, why are you doing both flyes and crossovers? I would cut about half that workout out of there. Try incline press, dumbbell flyes, and dumbbell pullovers (perpendicular to the bench). If...

Trying to cut down the bodyfat!

The short answer: Yes, your body will do that again. When people talk about the number of calories required for a person of a certain size, they are just talking about averages. Each person's body, however, is quite unique. One person your size might require 3000 calories per day to lose 2...
