  1. Protein powder that does not cause GI distress...

Have you tried isolates? Plant proteins? Something in the milk (either a lactose thing or a dairy protein sensitivity) sounds likely here; I'm not familiar with sweeteners causing bloating. Select is pretty low-lactose, so a sensitivity to one of the dairy proteins seems probable. Something...

  3. Why aren't there more single nitrate products?

Thermolife has a patent on the ever-popular amino nitrates; I imagine that limits things a bit. I'm in the same boat, though. After being spoiled by the likes of High Volume and Max Out, preworkouts -- even good ones like Conqu3r -- that don't have nitrates just can't compare. If I could add...
  4. I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

Same brand I'm using -- holy hell, I'd use this just for flavor and consistency enhancement. It elevates pre-workout proatmeal to a new level of gooey awesomeness. At this point, any myogenic benefit is just icing on the cake. 10/10 would use calories again.
  5. Next PES Insider Deal???

I wonder if this is going to be Australian-only given the boldine and Aussie preorder site? Amento in Alphamine is definitely interesting, as is the auraptene (coumarin derivative with appetite suppressive properties?) and other goodies. I'd definitely give this a whirl right now on the tail...
  6. Next PES Insider Deal???

I drink a likely-ridiculous amount around my workout. Probably about 48 fluid ounces pre (one 16-18 fl. oz cup for E9 when I wake, then another couple for preworkout(s) like HV + something stimmed), 32 during in my Nalgene, 20 afterwards. I have one nice, thunderous pee mid-workout, then a...
  7. Shoutout to Nutraplanet

I made a 3/5 order and a 3/8 order. Thanks to the fantastic failure that is FedEx, I'll likely get the later order before the first one -- which right now appears to be MIA. Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed Can't blame FedEx sucking on NP, though -- another happy repeat customer...
  8. Best bang for the buck Epicatechin product

Honestly, best bang for your buck is bulk cocoa powder. Invalid Link Removed -- 40-50g per day will definitely get the (-)epi in. Realistically, though, Magnitropin and Myosynergy are definitely the go-tos for standardized content. Closed labels are irritating, though.
  9. Is it okay to detox right after cycling my ABE and DS?

There are a few very specific things that help to "detox" (activated charcoal for some ingested poisons, spirulina mitigating heavy metal toxicity, etc.), 99% of the use of the word is entirely bogus. Words like "detox," "cleanse," and the vague "toxin" should immediately raise a very strong...
  10. experienced kratom users?

I imagine there's a wide range of potency between various products depending on what parts of the plant are used, but I definitely would not use 6g+ of the WickedKratom stuff. 3-4g is definitely the sweet spot for me. It's certainly not particularly cheap even at the lower dose, but what are...
  11. I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

I gotta agree -- this thread convinced me to try using my lecithin in smoothies and proats, and the results in both are fantastic. Makes for a thick and consistent smoothie (there's a reason it's used industrially, I suppose!) and for a gooey, extra-satisfying bowl of oatmeal. Not noticing too...
  12. Best mass gainer?

Bulk oats are $0.69-$0.89 per pound and a vastly superior carbohydrate source to maltodextrin. You can buy a big bag of frozen berries and big containers of coconut oil, peanut butter, or whatever other fat. You can even premix large quantities of this if you want. In the end, you can have a...
  13. Dream pre workout

Plain glycerol being just as effective (and more weight-efficient) in that regard. Also nitrates. Always nitrates.
  14. Proper use of Glycophase & GDAs

My favorite use is 15m prior to my pre-workout bowl of proats (~50g carbs); produces a noticeable increase in muscle fullness and endurance for me. Taken most any other time, it seems to contribute to GI issues. Likely a factor of where your carbs are coming from, like EBF said.
  15. I'm on Phosphatidic acid Ya'll

I have to imagine one of the appealing benefits of using the concentrates is not devoting 200-400 calories per day to the ~4tbsp of granules people are using. That's a decent amount of food!
  16. Ergonine

Ooo, nice, carbonated E9 must be refreshing! The slushie idea never seems to work well for me. Without some sort of syrup, it always seems to separate into liquid (nice and ice-cold, of course) and plain ice. Still refreshing, but just not the same. How are the popsicles? The strong flavors...
  17. Water Retention and Bloating

First of all, I just don't understand the hostility. I can't imagine much anything being worthy of this level of vitriol and "****s given," let alone something like this. Second of all, we're not talking about intakes to induce hyperkalemia here. Barring disorders, it's really hard to reach...
  18. Water Retention and Bloating

    Care to explain?
  19. Next PES Insider Deal???

That might be the one way that PES could disappoint me here. I'm sure that their vanilla would be fantastic, but there are a lot of very good vanilla flavors out there and CnC already tickles that itch for me in the Select lineup. Then again, I'm sure it'd have some crazy PES twist on it even...
  20. Water Retention and Bloating

More potassium, too. "Water follows sodium," more potassium forces your body to purge extra sodium along with water (hooray aldosterone). Lots of high-K green veggies will do the trick. Most potassium supplements are laughably low anyway. Using a KCl/NaCl salt blend in your cooking/seasoning...
