  1. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

Palmetto State Armory is a good source for your first build. Plenty of great and better options though.

  2. Douchebags at the gym...

Douche move of the day: Left my chalk bag at the gym after I was pulling. Went back to get it and someone had used it; left the bag/chalk spilling all over the floor...this is why we can't have nice things. I'm always the guy that grabs a gym rag and cleans up the chalk dust. The owners don't...

  3. Douchebags at the gym...

Stretching...gah, that's where I'm weak; injuries abound should I continue not doing so.

  4. THC - Maryjewona cons & pros?

Libertarian checking in. Marijuana is a toxic carcinogen, not to mention it robs you of your wits and sense of reality (for a short period of time). It has its uses, but not without its side-effects. It can be beneficial to some, but I would urge you to not use it often. I'm for its...

  5. Douchebags at the gym...

    Agreed 100%.

  6. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

Invalid Link Removed Hope you guys saw this^^^^ I personally believe things will be more costly, but I don't know how true it is that it'll be extremely difficult to get a hold of. - Really a bunch of crap that we're sending OUR mined goods overseas to have them smelted, and then sold back to...

  7. Douchebags at the gym...

Machines are one thing, but when I'm squatting and a kid wants me to unrack 4 plates after each set for him to squat 135, I get a little irritated. Just wait till I finish and it's yours. Unless you're going to be using the same or close to the same weight, don't step into someones free-weight...

  8. Douchebags at the gym...

About a 250lb black man, actually.

  9. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

I watched it this week. I felt the same way; they did pretty well with making it accurate and believable/realistic. - I've never been one to fear power-grid outages, solar flares, EMP's, etc., but I guess it's all possible. I mainly got into survivalism because of the skill-set associated with...

  10. Douchebags at the gym...

Getting really tired of people singing/rapping with their music when they have their headphones on. - Reaaaaally tired of it. Nobody wants to hear it. The winning line today, "...ya I'm strapped, b*tch!" - About as loud as he could prior to doing one of those squirrely, feet/legs flailing in the...

  11. Healthcare just hit my family hard

Are you able to use any skills you have to get some work on the side? Can you sell some things? Can you cut out some spending? Can you adjust your food costs? I understand that $1200 is not a small amount of money, but I can't help but think that you can possibly shave $100/mth from spending...

  12. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

How do you like the SAM, Trauma? - Sick gun, man. I've got an SGL21-61 and wouldn't trade it for anything...except maybe that. :) I'd like to put the Bonesteel folding stock on the SGL, but I've been busy buying other preps these days, not to mention trying to save. Not enough cash to go around...

  13. dude! Are we guys wasting our time?? this is surprising..

I've been all sizes and shapes from my beginnings in BBing to my recreational powerlifting physique now. My wife likes when I'm bigger, but I'm no longer willing to spend all my free time in the kitchen. I like being athletic and agile more than anything. It's all about strength to me now; I...

  14. JEANS THAT ACTUALLY FIT!?!?

Huge bump to Carhartt. I buy Lucky jeans almost exclusively, but Carhartt twill pants are my favorite things to wear. I've got a knife pocket on my left, a spare mag pocket on my right, deep front pockets for my wallet, and they're durable as hell.

  15. Pliny the Elder anyone? beer talk

Yes, had Pliny the Elder last year; have yet to try Pliny the Younger. Bought some Westvleteren 8 when I was in Brussels a few days ago. - That WAS the #1 beer for a few years, and probably the most difficult beer to get a hold of outside of 2wk brews like Pliny. I brought an empty suitcase in...

  16. PS4 or XBOX ONE, what you buying

I think it's very possible that it's a fact, but not really proof at this point. PS4 has a lot of capability as far as games go. - From my experience, it seems most adults will purchase a PS4, and most children will go for the XBOX. I personally have no interest in either, and will continue...

  17. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

Got the Buck 110 at Academy today for $27.99+tax. Came with a nice leather sheath. This knife is friggin heavy, but it's definitely a keeper! Makes me want to match it up with a 357 lever and wheel gun. :D

  18. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

I played with one of those knives today. Are they always so hard to open/close? I think I may go old school and get a Buck 110.

  19. (525lbs deadlift @ 16 y/o) ME Deadlift Session

Nice work, buddy. I think I'll do some DL's tomorrow. Thanks for the motivation!

  20. The OFFICIAL Guns/Firearms/Knives Thread!

Love the Sig! - Very nice, my friend. BTW, I ended up picking up a Kershaw Leek...fell out of my pocket already. Makes me sick. :( - I think when I kneel down the knives are pushing against my leg and popping out of my pocket. Freakin sucks. I need to start attaching it to a lanyard.
