HIIT - How long do you go?

Yea I've been alternating from swimming laps to treadmill. The treadmill usually takes about 5 secs to slow down to my rest speed and about the same to speed back up. I may try the eliptical though, not a huge fan of the treadmill, it gets pretty rough on my right knee. I did the prowler today...

HIIT - How long do you go?

I've read of people doing it from ten minutes up to 30 minutes at a time. I've heard of 10 sec sprints and 30 second "rests" all the way up to 30 sec sprints and 1 minute rest. Currently I've been doing 40 sec sprints at 1 min rest for 20 min but I think I'm gonna try 30 sec sprint/30 sec rest...

    Pre workout meal

I've been doing some research and everything I read seems to contradict the last thing that I read. I am looking for some help on my preworkout meals, mainly pre cardio. Pre- lifting I usually mix 2 whole eggs with approx 4 eggs worth of egg whites and have a bowl of steel cut oatmeal with...

    Versa-1, WTH

I think that is what I will do. 4 weeks with the rest of my ABE and C-20, adding in Versa-1, and then the last 4 weeks with Versa only. Thanks for the advice guys, I'm looking forward to this!

    Versa-1, WTH

I am about one bottle of each into the cycle (approx. 4 weeks). This is my first time with both supplements and I am loving them! Strength has started to go up pretty good and I've noticed I'm about 2 pounds heavier with a noticeable decrease in bf% judging by the mirror. Nothing crazy but I'm...

    Versa-1, WTH

I'm currently doing an 8 week cycle of Compound 20 and AnaBeta Elite. Think it'd be worth it/noticeable to add in Versa-1?

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

Yea that's for sure. At the moment I swim laps 3 times a week and lift 4 times a week. Seems to be meeting my needs fairly well.

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

Yea giving up isn't really an option even if I wanted to. I'm an EMT/Firefighter and I need my legs to not only function properly but I need some good strength as well. My only concern is that I don't want to make it any worse ya know? But I feel like as long as I don't get impatient and try too...

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

I typically like to do box squats at much lower weights so I can keep my form strict because I definitely am guilty of relaxing so to speak at the heavier weights on the box, thanks for the input.

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

I like the idea of goblet squats, never tried the zercher squats but I'll look into them as well. I suppose next on the list is the shoes and maintaining neutral head position. Thanks for all the input guys I really appreciate it. Nothing gets my legs better than a good ol fashioned squat so I...

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

Thanks for the suggestions and response. As far as heels go what would you suggest? I have a pair of Adidas weightlifting shoes that I haven't worn in a while, lately I've just been wearing my Chuck Taylor All Stars to squat in. One thing I did notice is that I did box squats for a while trying...

Knee pain during squat, form to blame?

About a year ago I had knee surgery, not very major. I was having bad pain in my right knee and basically they found some tissue that wasn't supposed to be there and theorized that it was catching on something to cause the pain. They went in with a scope and cut it out. Fast forward a year and...

    Don't be that guy?

Oh absolutely. He was an alcoholic and probably bipolar or something. Not a good mix with AAS. Just trying to show the overall tom foolery that some people get into.

    Sciatica: what to ask for?

Honestly for pain control opiates are my favorite. The downside is I build up a tolerance to them pretty quickly. I have to take 30 + mg of vicodin to even get any pain relief so the script doesnt last too long. The other downside is they can be fairly addictive depending on the person so be...

    Don't be that guy?

I had a friend who was 27 and knew nothing about steroids whatsoever and decided he wanted to take Tren and Winny. So sure enough he did, his only research being what doses of each to take. No pre/on/post cycle support of any kind no pct, no SERM or AI. Dude was a mess, he got gyno, got super...

    Swiming laps for cardio

I will give that a try on Thursday and report back lol. At about 80-90% intensity I can swim 25 yards (one length down) in 16-18 seconds continuously for 25 min. I'm imagining that with a slight drop in intensity I can do a 50 (there and back) in a minute, probably less. You think doing this at...

    Swiming laps for cardio

I was doing a running HIIT routine for a little while but I had knee surgery a while back so it started to get pretty painful and I had to stop. What I've been doing the last couple weeks is essentially HIIT in the pool. I will all out sprint for 20 seconds (I swam competitively in high school...

How can you stand the taste of Nolva / Clomid?

This is what I do, except with Gatorade or Vitamin Water. I take one mouthful of whatever drink I want. Squirt the nolva in and then swallow. I barely taste the nolva anymore.
