  1. opinions on frequency of training chest

Obviously it's limited by your recovery, that's why any program that has you training 2x a weeks usually has you doing very low volume. High frequency low volume is the basis of DC training and a lot of other BB routines. Trying to train high volume 2x a week and you will definitely be killing...
  2. Building lower back

Quick Q to anyone, if you're doing good morning specifically to strengthen the low back, do you bend at the knees a fair amount or keep strict form?
  3. opinions on frequency of training chest

The more times you train a muscle weekly the more you'll be growing it. A lifter training chest once a week will be growing his chest 52 times a year, a lifter training chest twice a week will be growing his chest 104 times a year.
  4. Building lower back

Sounds nuts, I can't really picture how that would look in my head. Why is it supposed to be superior to a regular good morning?
  5. GET BIG ARMS

Here's a study that suggests that increasing the diameter of a bar doesn't really affect neuromuscular activation: h ttp://w ww.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18520435 It was done using an isometric bench press, so there's no way to tell if it would improve curls, deads, rows, etc, but it is food for...
  6. Will doing cardio slow down muscle gains?

I think cardio is important during bulking unless you're very close to a competition or something. Just look at most of the powerlifters who tell you to never do cardio because it will hurt your gains, they can't tie their shoes without getting gassed!
  7. deadlift stance????

I pull sumo, with my knees touching the rings on the knurling. I absolutely cannot pull conventional, I tried for months but m body isn't built for it, I can't even pick up a loaded barbell with 135lbs on it without having a massive back round.
  8. My close grip bench & regular grip problem

It's really just about your leverages. What works for a lot of other people might not work for you. I know Konstantin uses a close grip and has an insane bench. It's not really a problem, just train what you're good at.
  9. Finding Out MAXES

I find that after lifting for awhile, most guys can take a decent guess at their 1RM and be within a 5-10lb range of it, no need for a formula. I rarely train under three reps, but I find that I can guess my single rep max fairly accurately based on how I feel that day.
  10. Eating eggs can change our sexual feelings?

"Milk is for babies. When you grow up you have to drink beer." -Arnold Schwarzenegger.
  11. How do you guys feel about deadlifting in the squat rack?

I can't associate with things like this, I haven't seen a soul at my gym in at least three months (which is why I absolutely love it, everything is always free).
  12. Weight Belt for squats/deadlifts?

I just started doing overhead squats on my light days (texas method). I thought my form was decent on squats, but I nearly fell flat on my face after just a few reps!
  13. powerlifting competition in 4 months

It depends on your skill level really. I have my first competition in about a month, I just hit into intermediate territory, and I'm training exactly the same as I did before. Unless you're advanced or a high-level intermediate, just train the same way you have been.
