Invalid Link Removed So I don't have kettlebells...well, the wife does...5 pounders...pink plastic, lol. If I wanted to do this, and I only bought 1 kettlebell, what would be a good weight?

DaPack..Fighting Age One Day at a Time

I know some of the formulas in the 531 calculator are a little funky. With 6 sets of bench, there is usually a 20-30 pound increase each set, but sometimes it jumps 50-60 pounds in between sets 3 and 4. And conversely, deload sets are ridiculously low. If I set my max bench as 340, the deload...

Hairygrandpas log, fat- and older people welcome!- diet, training, cycles, healing

I lifted, swam, and ran 5 days a week when I was his age. I added ZERO muscle mass. I didn't have the genes or a coach or any understanding of nutrition. I think your son stands a pretty good chance to be successful since he seems to have all 3 of those things.

    Deadlifts physique vs Squat physique

There's some good info in this thread, and some really bad info in this thread. Unless a person is hindered by an injury, squats and deads are a must for body building. I lifted for 10 years before I started doing deads, and I was plateaued for the last two years of that. Then I added deads...

    Rowing Machine

Thanks. I'll look into that. ...I did...$900...ouch. If I want to go that route, I'll have to back burner it for a while.

    Can someone critique my plan?

I'd suggest 4 days a week: 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 2 days off. There is a reason 80% of all the workouts I've seen are 4-day splits. I'd also suggest fewer auxiliary movements and more bench, squats, and deads.

    Rowing Machine

I've been wanting to add a rowing machine to my list of workout activities...but I don't want to spend a ton of money. I've been on Amazon, and there are a lot of rowing machines for under $200, but when I read the reviews, it seems a lot of people claim they break after a short period of time...

In my experience, most college students are Hillary supporters. Many were Bernie supporters, but when he backed out, they all went toward Hillary.
