LET ME TELL YOU OF THE DAYS OF HIGH ADVENTURE!

I went fishing on a buddy's boat this weekend in Lake Michigan. Admittedly, it was a little too much like charter fishing, which I don't particularly enjoy...put 6 poles on downriggers, troll back and forth while watching rod tips. Sort of boring. We only caught one king salmon. We also had...

    Home Gym Racks....

All of my equipment is Body-Solid. When I bought it over 15 years ago, the cost was around $700 for everything I still own. For the fun of it, I priced it out last year using the new prices, it was something like $2500. I will say this, my stuff is as good today and it was 15 years ago. At...

Sons Chest refuses to develop and Grow

At 17, I was hitting...wait for it...185. That's after 3-4 years of lifting. Training regiment, diet, genetics, and hormones make a 17 year old a wild card. My buddy and I lifted every morning before high school, similar diets, similar training...except I looked like a stick bug, and he...

LET ME TELL YOU OF THE DAYS OF HIGH ADVENTURE!

I want to say "everything" is checked when they last ran my blood work. I'm actually due to go in next week for another full panel. I guess I'll find out soon. Once upon a time when I couldn't break 300 on bench, I got into a semi-regular habit of punching out 100 reps of just the bar after...

LET ME TELL YOU OF THE DAYS OF HIGH ADVENTURE!

It was. Makes me think I should do things like this more often. 9 seconds is painful. I had a magnetic digital timer on the top of my power rack that I was watching to track the time...slowest 9 seconds ever!

Is that the extent of your food plan? I mean, that's how I eat too...well, not the ZMA currently.

Is it in your log somewhere? If you're talking about that cleanse you plan on doing soon, screw that, lol.

Sounds like good news...though the answer isn't clear cut. Do you have more PT session set up?

I didn't even take notice of those dead numbers until now. Those got up fast! You should probably de-load next week.

3 supps you could take for a lifetime

Hmm...I'd keep my list of 3 WAY more basic: Multi Fish oil Protein I mean, an infinite supply, to me, means you're taking it for life. Not seeing running cycles into old age as a viable strategy.

I'm also going back to an added arm day which puts more time between deads (which it seems I need more recovery now-a-days), and 531 is sparse on arms. Old Week 1: Mon: Press Tues: Deads Wed: off Thurs: Bench Fri: Squat Old Week 2 Repeat New Week 1 Mon: Press Tues: Deads Wed: Arms Thurs: off...

LET ME TELL YOU OF THE DAYS OF HIGH ADVENTURE!

Maybe that was the wrong title to give it...it wasn't heavy sets of 5...I was going to call it "Alt Bench." But really though, I've got this weird ceiling on my big lifts. 10x225 was somewhat easy for me, but I probably couldn't have put up 1x300 that night. It's like I've got no...
