I appreciate the input though - personally I don't think my lifts have advanced enough for a program like that. I weigh in at around 135# cold (no food/no water) and I'm only pushing 305# on my back squat (no belt/no wraps), 285# (no belt/no wraps) on my bench, and 415# on my dead (no belt). So...
I hate sounding like a prickly bitch but after an hour training I get bored quick...
Love to train but my enthusiasm drops after about an hour. At that point I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. I'd rather train and hour a day for 7 days a week than 2 hours plus for 3 or 4 days.
Sound like a solid combo - I'm in! How are you dosing this? Are you doing 4 weeks Cerberus followed by 4 weeks of Hard? Or is it both Cerberus and Hard together for a month? If it's together was your protocol? Morning, PWO, evening, etc.?
Found a link to Greg Nuckols who did a write up on this very study! He does a much better job giving background on this than I am...

The second study simple states "ten men" and nothing about it they are trained or not.
The reason I bring this up is because with the study on cortisol and the trained boxers it's safe to assume that they're putting out a greater amount of intensity in each session than a complete novice in...
Just to play devils advocate (because someone has too, haha) - there was an old article by Alwyn Cosgrove on I think T-Nation (yeah I know not always the most reputable source but he knows his ****). Anyway the interviewer asked him if there was anything "new" he learned and his response was the...
I'll second that. After speaking with the good folks over at Sparta Nutrition (CS was excellent btw - fast and receptive) I think that as soon as week 4 ends you're gonna really wanna run it for another 4! Dive in Bro DiMaggio!
I think it comes down to - "because Arnuld said so!"
High rep shrugs never did much for me (though my traps were always solid just not where I wanted them) and it wasn't until I started incorporating pseudo O-lifts into my training that I noticed a huge difference in both their appearance and...
Yeah Buddy! This is the log I've been waiting for - planning to run this mid May so don't hold back. Oh and post both muscle and libido results. Seriously. Haha
^ Bro...for real?! You're doing more for your tri's than I'm doing for my whole body some days! Haha - good ****. I really appreciate the explanation too for the movements. Helps to creat a better visual.
What's your current routine/split looking like for this cycle? Are Bi's and Tri's getting...
In - which Blueprint you doing? I'm gonna assume Cut? I've been looking at the Mass but goddamn that's a lot of volume! And I generally love both volume and frequency. Curious as to how long each session would take.
Who's running the Spartan Hard? That's the one I'm most interested in. Big gains both in the gym AND in the bedroom...kitchen...front yard...neighbors pool!
Haha - I like building my own on a occasion but it's always nice to not have to think about it and just go in having full confidence in a program.
I'm currently on week 2 of my modified PHUL program. I'll probably run it for at least 8 weeks them see where I'm at. Afterwards I think I'll...
