I used to do deadlifts, until I noticed a tight compression in my lower back (where the butt and back and waist are) after that I quit deadlifting...I already have a wrecked knee, I don't need a wrecked back.
Oh and don't forget all of this at age 17-18.
viralencore84, I'd suggest you first look at your personal goals and then determine wether or not you should deadlift. FORGET about what people on here say, they don't know you and your body, do what is BEST AND SAFEST FOR YOU...I've followed the advice of various bodybuilders/powerlifting...
So i was squatting right...and there's an old guy (60 y/o) on the squat rack next to me...and I don't think anything of it so I ask him to spot me...(this was on monday).
I come in wednesday and I see the same guy and he asks me if I'm squatting and I'm like yeah, he's like cool dude, if you...
I'm thinking of doing a similar routine to what you posted BassGuy but this:

3x10 Dips
3x10 Crossovers
3x10 Skull crushers
3x5 Shoulder Presses
3x8 Upright Rows
Pull:
3x10 Pullups
3x10 Curls DB Alternating
3x8 Reverse Grip Barbell Rows
3x8 Lat Pulldowns
I'm doing physical therapy for my legs, my diet is in check and I do cardio 30 minutes everyday but I'm gonna cut it down to
Mon - 20 minutes + Lift
Tue - 30 minutes
Wed - 20 minutes + Lift
Thu - 30 minutes
Fri - 20 minutes + Lift
Sat -30 minutes
Sun - Rest
that was water weight...I was thinking that people here would have assumed that >_<...and yes I know one week does not mean stalling...it happens after an extended period of time, I just wanna have the knowledge of how to deal with it before hand.
Also...
Cardio - 7x a week, M-F (30 minutes Arc Trainer/Elliptical), Sat and Sun (45 minutes Uphill walking, I hold the rails >_<)
Only lifts are my rehab stuff for my knee and ab training (hanging leg raises, lying leg raises)
I've never been on a cut long enough for this to happen...mainly because I get unmotivated and **** up my diet...but this time due to the health concerns involved (****ed up knee, in rehab) I NEED TO LOSE THE WEIGHT...and I want to give myself the gift of health as a graduation gift to myself...
Also, what about the rice and brocolli...lol cuz that's what I'm eating my chicken with.
So you don't use actual garlic and onion...just powders?
>_<
Man that's crazy...I'm a guy and I've never cooked before unless you count burgers on a grill (but they are very fattening, endomorph here) and...
I have a george foreman type grill and a non stick pan and lots of olive oil.
What are some simple ways to prepare chicken breasts, whenever I try to grill them/pan prepare them they suck, and I don't want to depend on my mom for help cuz she doesn't follow my schedule and this causes me to mess...
I'm also done with my last box of diet "soda" at home, after this no more, I've switched over to caffeine pills so I can still get the kick of soda (ONCE A DAY, PRE W/O) but i'll get the same kick without the taste, hopefully i can ween myself off to the point where because I don't get the kick...
I'm 18, 5'9".
I started lifting in 9th grade all the way through 12th but never took it seriously and I've ****ed around with various diets (keto, carbs only in the morning, 40/40/20, etc) I would end up losing around 8-10 lbs and not be able to hold out and I'd gain the weight back and...
