  1. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Endo ran thyroid tests in march, were a little high - did a manual check and found no physical signs. Had an ecography of my kidneys last June or so after the urine blood happened, nothing found on the scans. Infection causing high prolactin is interesting, but wouldn't it show up on blood...
  2. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Another thing, before it all happened, for several weeks I had very high prolactin, way beyond what has been measured in my blood results. It was high enough to cause acute sensitivity in my left nipple and chest, but without any noticeable change in the tissue. Then my balls shrank and two...
  3. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

No lower back pain or burning, no redness around genitals. Two weeks after it happened, my left crotch began to feel uncomfortable, like something was pulling on something else. After some months, it developed into a pain, kind of hot sharp feeling in my left groin. I guess that is the...
  4. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

To answer to your last post, I had no flu symptoms, no fever ir anything. Just incredible fatigue, like I hadn't slept in days. No pain, urine flow was normal until about 4-5 months later when I my urine had a large amount of blood in it for 24 hours. Had a sperm test done only this June, the...
  5. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Thanks for the replies. I've read about the connection with varicoceles, and I agree with you about the effects, but the 8 or so urologists I've spoken to have mostly ignored that. They also tend to contradict one another too. I need to find a good one with appropriate experience. Prostate...

  7. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

I meant to type experiment, it auto corrected. I meant that perhaps knowing that the b12 having such a big effect on you, might lead to a deeper cause which could perhaps be repaired. Problems absorbing b12 or making use of it, I am guessing as I don't know much about it.
  8. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

Thanks. Could it be to do with some difficulty absorbing B12 or another mineral, does your doctor have any ideas. How long will you keep the excitement going?
  9. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

How much b12, zinc, magnesium and b6 are you taking? Your doctor sounds pretty capable, how did he isolate a lived problem, from blood results? Did you feel any difference in terms of libido of energy during your experiment?
  10. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

I've seen what you have spoken about, the flow chart mentality, in almost all the doctors I have visited. Some are more curious than others, or have a little more open mind. Most ignore outright that there is anything wrong, despite physical symptoms. I hope you can stay in touch with me, in...
  11. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Spurfy, may I ask which country you are in - and could you recommend someone I could see about this? I am talking with a doctor where I am in Spain about your theory but it is not their speciality, though they are interested in helping solve it. Also, I don't know if I mentioned before, but the...
  12. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

That's quite useful to know, I've been sleeping badly for months, I don't know what's up. I'll look for b12 and try as you said.
  13. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

Another guy on here said testosterone isn't the most important factor, and that it is more about the balance of hormones with one another. Sounds like yours is running really well now. I appreciate the info you drop here, I think most people when they solve things just disappear and we never see...
  14. Time frame to reduce SHBG & feel normal again?

Your testosterone has gone up significantly, and free T too - more importantly you are feeling good. Has your muscle mass gone up?
  15. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Thanks Greek. Could be related - I really could have done with a full blood test immediately when it happened, My testosterone has remained just above average, according to results. I asked one urologist what my level should be - he said about 1,000.
  16. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Seen three endocrinologists so far, none were particularly interested in finding out what was wrong. They just said the results were mostly "within normal ranges" - and when they weren't, they said it wasn't high enough to be significant. I need to find an endocrinologist and a urologist who...
  17. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

I was under a great deal of stress at the time, emotional, work, lack of sleep too. Very interesting. I have some physical symptoms, which doctors discounted as 'not usually' causing this. Small varicocele and two spermatoceles on left side, and the latest urologist found a 'very small' inguinal...
  18. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Sleep hasn't been as good for the last few months. Waking up too soon. Been somewhat better in the last couple of weeks. No serious head injuries, just bumping my head. Last memorable knock was 14 years ago, just hurt and put me in a bad mood for a few hours. MRI of head said all normal apart...
  19. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

I take no medications of any kind. In the past few years I've taken more or less nothing. A few months ago I took some ibuprofen for a few days. Never taken finasteride, or any other hormone affecting medication. No steroids. 5 years ago a few days of antibiotics. They never checked DHT, though...
  20. Sudden testicle shrinkage. No libido, fatigue. Varicocele?

Prolactin was very high for 3 weeks before (January 2015) and one week after the incident, but untested until 2 months later - due to the speed of the hospital system. I realised this some months after. Nipple and chest area was extremely sensitive for weeks surrounding the incident. It dropped...
