Supplement that impressed/surprised you the most

Seconded. Drive was one of the first supplements I tried where I actually think I experienced *all* of the advertised benefits. Awesome stacked with RPM pre-workout. After finishing my first 120 cnt bottle, I immediately splurged for the 240 cnt, even though it was obscenely expensive in...

Herbal Test Boosters = Waste of $$

I do value frankness, and I would genuinely appreciate help from you or from anyone else who can answer my question. For direction, I was looking more for a biological explanation or a link to an article--not directions to Walmart, of which the closest is about 3000 miles from me. I'll try to...

Herbal Test Boosters = Waste of $$

Since you claim to be "here to help" (as opposed to LOL at people), could you please explain to me why you think having a high endogenous testosterone level will not lead to increased muscle gains compared to someone who has a lower endogenous test level? Thanks.

Zeus Supp Report & Testofen product round-up

I have to agree. Drive has been overall the best test booster for me (so far). The recomp benefits from the forskolin are also noticeable, as is the increase endurance while training. In short, I love the stuff. Just went back on after 10 days off, and what a difference! Definitely improves...

    STARTING MY TEST BOOSTER

Sounds to me like you got your priorities straight! From 17-22 yrs old, all I took for supps was whey, creatine, multi-vit/min, and the occasional weight gainer. That, plus a good diet and hard work. Turned out great. Good luck.

    Toco-8: A Complete Vitamin E Complex

Guess I can't argue with that! Thanks for the advice guys. I just placed an order and will give it a try. Cheers.

Herbal Test Boosters = Waste of $$

Well... unfortunately many products ARE bs, and there are almost no proper placebo-controlled double-blind human studies (on putative herbal "test boosters") published in scientific peer-reviewed journals. So generally we have to make do with "in-house" studies or rat-based studies or ghetto...

    Suggestion to Supplement Companies

I tried the ON "100% Whey Variety Pack", only to discover that the double chocolate was still the only flavor I liked! Oh, well. I still agree that more companies should sell "sampler packs". They're also convenient when traveling. If we're on the topic of taste, having tried upwards of 50...

NOW brand vs Nutra's Nettle Root?

Please re-read GregW's sound advice. You just need to see (or calculate) how much standardized extract there is in each and compare those numbers, since that's the active ingredient. I tried to do this for you, but couldn't find the "Nutra Nettle Root" product you talked about. Could you be...

    STARTING MY TEST BOOSTER

Your best option is to send it to me. I'm almost running out. :-) Or, find an older (25-30+) buddy of yours who will trade you some whey protein for it. That's your most important supp. Or, if it's unopened, auction it off on AM, and use the proceeds to help you buy more whole foods to up...

    Toco-8: A Complete Vitamin E Complex

Hey, I'm a bit late to this thread. Could use some advice: I have taken no or very little Vit E (in supp form) in the last four years, since I read about potential toxicity issues, which concern me. I also do not need Vit E for PCT, since I don't take PHs. Toco-8 is largely marketed to the...

    naturally boosting test

Most people on AM seem to be reporting positive results on the recommended doses of Testofen-based products, i.e. in the range of 600-800 mg Testofen ED. If you've never tried a Testofen supp before, then that's a good range to start. But some only respond to (or prefer?) higher doses, e.g...

    STARTING MY TEST BOOSTER

Asking for a test booster recommendation at the age of 18, when you almost certainly have naturally very high test levels already, makes everyone else very jealous / nostalgic! For starters, eat 6 times a day instead of 3. And read. More. Cheers.

Zeus Supp Report & Testofen product round-up

Well that's a hell of an endorsement. Clearly not underrated by you! Did you take the original ISA-TEST or this apparently new version called ISA-TEST "GF"? Seems the new version contains Somatrin, a proprietary blend of nettle root (95% div), macuna pruriens (15% L-Dopa), and melatonin. On...

Zeus Supp Report & Testofen product round-up

Fair enough. Divanil has been slowly moving up my list of supps to try, so thanks for the suggestion! I'll probably hold off a little while before trying Activate Xtreme, since it also contains Icariin--and I'm already taking two others products with Icariin (RPM + Drive). But should...

Either of you guys feel like justifying the ISA-TEST recommendation? What's hiding in that proprietary blend?? Cheers.

Zeus Supp Report & Testofen product round-up

The recommended dosing for Phyto-test is 4 caps ED (800 mg Testofen ED). I'd probably just start from there, to be on the conservative side, and see how it goes for the first bottle (at that rate, 30 days). It'll already be a 33% increase in Testofen compared to Zeus, plus it has...

Zeus Supp Report & Testofen product round-up

Hey guys, Big two-parter here on Testofen*: * Testofen is a concentrated fenugreek (trigonella foenum-greacum) seed extract standardized to 50% "fenusides". This herb has potent test-boosting qualities and should not be confused with standard fenugreek, which is used for insulin control...
