Best way to get rounder outer Delts?

I've found for shoulders there has to be the right combination of form and explosive power. Some people look like they are cheating, but if you look carefuly you'll see that the shoulders are still moving the weight while other things are moving around. I think most people who overly obsess...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

Weighed in at 209.8 this morning. I'm trying to be conservative, but I've lost 7 lbs. in 4 days, and I think atleast 1, maybe 2 lbs of that is fat. My shoulders are more rounded but with great seperation (relatively speaking, of course). My whole upper body seems bigger. Speculation, I know...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

Played racquetball yesterday for about 30-40 minutes. I like racquetball for cardio, and I do it HIIT style, playing really hard for a while, then resting, then playing hard again. Very intense cardio while not tiring out specific muscles because the whole body is moving in different...

I'm seriously considering using this as PCT for an h-drol cycle coming up.

OTC PCT question, specifically about h drol

After reading up over on the OTCPCT website I'm thinking about adding 6-oxo 3 weeks into PCT. Is that redundant since I'll already be running PCS/stoked? BTW, after a long discussion I got the OK from the wife to give this a go. It took a lot of convincing. She made the comment that she...

OTC PCT question, specifically about h drol

I'm sorry, I know there are about a billion threads to this affect, but every question gets about a million answers, and they all seem a bit different. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm confused. I'm tossing around the idea of getting into this whole PH thing with some H-drol. I've been...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

Down 4 lbs, 217 to 213, in 2 days. Gotta love the confidence that water weight gives you looking down at the scale, and I did just cycle off creatine, although I'm sure a small bit of that is fat. If I end up getting below 208 after this 2 week cut (which would mean less then 3 lb. gain from...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

I agree with this one. A couple months ago a combination of muscle memory and having not trained too hard for about 6 months allowed me to add muscle while still leaning out/losing weight. But the muscle gain stalled, and that's when I decided to shift my focus to bulking.

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

Thanks Team180, I guess, but I'm not really looking for suggestions of other things to do. I was cutting, quite successfully, averaging 1 lb lost per 5 day period for 6 weeks total, but I realized that once i finished cutting I wasn't going to nearly have the mass I wanted. Sorry, but all I...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

At first I was tracking cals on the bulk, but I found myself in situations like eating at certain restaurants where it was impossible to get nutritional info. I also found myself struggling to get enough calories when I only ate things I could record. But you're very correct; If I want to...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

If you find the article I mentioned it gives more info, with studies, but the idea is that after 2 weeks the body shifts into a sort of "fat storing mode" as a result of the higher caloric intake. That's why the cut. If you go to maintanence with your body in a state where it wants to store...

    Tate's 2 week bulk/2 week cut plus 5x5 log

At the suggestion of another member, I'm going to do a log for a little experiment I'm doing. After reading about the theories behind the concept of cycling back and forth between bulking and cutting, 2 weeks at a time, It sounds like it makes sense, so I'm going to give it a go (google...

Can Fast Food Really Be That Bad?

I've been doing a mostly clean bulk to build some muscle, after years of dieting to maintain a 100 lb weight loss 5 years ago. Yesterday, for the first time in those 5 years, I had a whopper from BK. After I lost all that weight I avoided fast food like the plague. I've trained myself so well...

I think keeping your body from getting used to it is actually part of the point. The article I talk about in post #5 sites three studies where weight gained by subjects switching from a caloric deficit to a surplus was mostly muscle for the first 2 weeks, even though the subjects didn't do any...

Now that I've cleared all that up, any other thoughts? I've always used bodypart splits. This will be my first foray into focussing on compound lifts since I played high school football, and our trainers really didn't know what they were doing. (I think that's why I like working legs so much...
