    Clomid is better cuz it is works primarily at the hpta pituitary area, whereas nolva targets breast tissue. Nolva is good for preventing gyno, but in the case of doing a pituitary restart its Clomid. Only use AI if blood work indicates E issues.

    It's not uncommon to get trt care through endo or urologist, it's oftentimes rare or difficult to get them to prescribe AI or HCG along with it.

    Is there any benefit at all to using HCG along with trt if I am primary hypogonadic? I may not get the natural test production from the testes, but what about pregnenalone and other upstream hormone production from the testes with the use of HCG.     I guess the general consensus is that clomid is a better non-testosterone HRT protocol then using pregnenalone and or DHEA.     Apparently clomiphene is a serm targeting the hypothalamus and pituitary versus nolvadex which targets breast tissue. In this I can see clomid being more effective at stimulating lh and fsh for the testis to churn out natural test.
