  1. Lifting Heavy every single day - LOG

Good point. That takes things to: 650, 556, 791, 1700. And the latter is a fair point as well. I know I've graduated to a knee sleeve for tendonosis (result of a limb length imbalance), but I imagine I'll have to get wraps one of these days to keep trucking at heavier weight. Gotcha. Just...
  2. Lifting Heavy every single day - LOG

Keep in mind that those lifts are APF only. There are quite a few feds out there, and you'll be more competitive in certain ones. As far as American records go, drug tested raw 181 is: 601sq, 468b, 766dl, 1575t. Even close to that and you'll be competitive in most feds.
  3. Article: Behind Neck Presses

That last paragraph... Broscience is scientific science.
  4. When should I cycle creatine?

Just a thought. That tends to be a symptom, but I wouldn't worry if your blood work is OK. You can buy some decent monitoring stuff for cheap or see if a sports medicine/athletic training center could help you out. Like I said, that's a lot of water to feel thirsty. It may be nothing, but I...
  5. When should I cycle creatine?

Related question: are you diabetic? Anywho, like I said, drink water but it's impressive you're still thirsty after a gallon. Haha. That's where I got my first question. How do you partition water intake throughout the day? Actually, have you ever used a refractometer to check your hydration?
  6. When should I cycle creatine?

I'm going to take a shot here and say it's the water intake causing you to urinate frequently. Hydration is important, but you're not accomplishing anything by overhydrating. A gallon should more than get you by unless you're sweating bullets for hours a day. Also, make sure you're taking in...
  7. Lifting Heavy every single day - LOG

You could rig it for glute hams, though the build and positions are slightly different. At the very least, I would suggest some rows or weighted pull ups at least twice a week since you're pressing often (even following the press). Also, you could RDL or perform weighted bridge/hip thrusts for...
  8. Favorite exersice's

Sounds like my kind of work. Good luck on that. I'll check it out. They do tend to be the most flexible.
  9. When should I cycle creatine?

I think research has shown maintenance with 2g. How much water are you drinking? There is overkill.
  10. Question on lower back muscles

Surgery could have something to do with it. If it's purely aesthetic, I wouldn't worry (unless you're planning on competitive bodybuilding). I completely tore my left rectus femoris in high school, but aside from looking weird, it has no effect on my training. Now, if there is a strength...
  11. When should I cycle creatine?

If you're saturated, it makes no difference. Go cheap with Vitamin Shoppe monohydrate and you'll be saving yourself money (it really is cheaper than dirt). Even during a load, I would stick with monohydrate. It may take slightly longer to hit saturation, but I can guarantee it's the cheaper...
  12. When should I cycle creatine?

There's a good chance that if you're an omnivore and take any modern supplements, four days a week should be fine for maintenance. You reach a saturation point (see, genetic limit) that is maintained by lower doses than your typical loading phase. If you're eating meat, you'll receive some from...
  13. Favorite exersice's

Trust me, one shoulder is internally rotated and sits shallowly in the joint. I used to have a lot of issues with it until I started hammering rows and face pulls. It doesn't hurt now, but there's a visible discrepancy when I raise my arms overhead. I just haven't invested the time in finding a...
  14. Favorite exersice's

I just wish I could OH squat. My shoulder mobility is garbage. Regardless, my favorites are front squats and bent over row.
  15. Help with training

What does the rest of your training look like? While spot reduction is baloney, an increase in muscle mass with a concurrent decrease in total body fat will go a long way. If you're training properly you will see whole body changes. Also, get bent over/prone rows in your life and drop the...
  16. Lifting Heavy every single day - LOG

This has devolved pretty quickly. Look, there's no denying the short-term benefits of this type of lifting, but is has extremely limited long-term, real-world application. For one, it doesn't deal with imbalances. You might claim they don't matter, but imbalances do create injuries. Working with...
  17. deadlift, squat, rdl - always keep the wieght on heels? (srs)

During squats and dead lifts, it would be more accurate to say heel to mid-foot as well as placed on the lateral (outside) portion of the foot. It's physics at work. Placing your weight on your forefoot (typically) creates a forward lean during squats and dead lifts, which moves the bar further...

  19. What do you do when you're not 'feeling' your workout one day?

Perhaps I misread your post. Apologies. Box squats are acceptable, too. I have some gnarly tendonosis in my right knee (stems from gait issues due to a limb length imbalance), so there are times in training where I have to box squat, so I understand where you're coming from. Also, box squats let...
