But, and this is just what I got from the AD write up, shouldn't it just be the opposite. Like I feel a little jipped here with the stack. I was under the impression that it would be the very opposite.
Pool and ocean work is the great equalizer. Most people don't really work on that unless you grew up in that environment. It's usually the separating factor in that kind of selection. That and being weak minded.
Not strange at all if your trying out for a SRT/TAC/SWAT/SF team. Pretty run of the mill actually. My advice do it a few times with full advantage. Meaning just goggles and bathing suit. Do this first a couple times to get used to it like this. Relaxation is huge and DO NOT hyperventilate...
Same here on this. I've been on the stack of 6 a day AL and 3 a day for AD for about 12-14 days now. I think it's starting to clear up but I have been very foggy during the day and I'm not usually one to get foggy and tired throughout the day. My sleep regime is pretty strict.
I've used a vest between 20lbs and all the way up to 50lbs with gear and rescuing a training buddy. Never used the gloves but I've seen guys using them.
Not trying to put down anyone's advice as everyone has their own opinion in what works best but I'm not a big fan of weighted gloves. The bricks in the backpack is great and I'd definitely do that as well. When swimming I don't mind restricting anything but my hands unless I'm holding onto...
Hypoxic training as well as drownproofing will help you out on that. With Hypoxic training all you do I swim normally but every lap try an go more and more strokes without breathing. Example: first lap breath every 2 strokes, 2nd lap breath every 3, 3rd lap every fourth and so on. This is...
I wanna say we are at 10 days as of today. I don't have any experience with PHs so I'll say this is my first time and don't know if that is normal or not. I'm not ragging on the product. I'm just giving my impression of the first week and half impression of it. Like I said, things could change...
I'm just checking in quick to say I'm NOT too impressed with AL...yet. So far I don't feel any different and as for the AD I'm not feeling if either. I'm not saying things won't improve but for the time being the only thing I have noticed is sometimes I'm tired as hell. More so than usual.
Not really jacked. I'm a bit too big for my height for the kind of activity I do. I'm 5'7" and weigh 190lbs. I'm carrying too much mass for both Crossfit and SOF type conditioning. I'm trying to drop to below 180lbs. I work much better at the upper 170s.
Jump Rope? Hands down the buddy lee...

I'll write something up here today. I'll post a before pic. Give you guys a rundown of my programming and give some updates but it won't be very detailed. My diet is pretty consistent in terms of what I eat and don't eat but the quantity is always different because CF is so varied in its volume...
I'm actually gonna be running this as soon as my AL arrives. I have the AD. I'll be running 6 AL with 3AD per day for 8 weeks. I'll keep you guys posted as well. Also, if the stack works well I'll probably try an AD only cycle at 6 a day for 8 weeks after that. We'll see how it goes.
