You guys are on to something. There are studies supporting moderate cheating is better than really strict form for hypertrophy.. Also more studies showing faster eccentric doing more muscle damage than slower eccentrics.. Also top researchers are saying volume is the key to growth... Imagine how...
Well your goals are a little counter productive you can do both at the same time it's just really difficult.. I would suggest either focusing on bulking or cutting depending on what you want to do. If your body weight has stalled out and you are trying to bulk its most likely due to not enough...
I've done PHAT for two years and I love it. But with all that squatting volume your legs should be growing more with smolov than they do on PHAT. Congrats on the squat gains but I do think this is an issue with the diet man. PHAT would be lowering leg volume and wouldn't produce the same size...
You can train 6 or 7 days a week and not overtrain you have to figure out the amount of volume you can handle to be able to recover between each workout. If that is the style training that you would like to do.. When you say you have hit a plateau are you saying your lifts or your body weight or...
I also remember when I used less frequent training sessions I would get horrible DOMS and I thought it was a good thing.. I thought that the nervous system took too long to recover for your body to be accrue a lot of micro trauma to the muscles and that theory was kind of based off of what...
Sounds like you are exactly where I was 2 years ago and I found PHAT and love it. Of course that new PH3 trainer is really good but you might not like that style of training. Pretty big fan of Layne Norton in case you couldn't tell haha
This would be a step down from PHAT in terms of volume. If you're already far enough in your training to need to do higher volume programming like PHAT then your results from this program wouldn't be as good. Now, if the higher volume is overwhelming I would consider running a program like this...
Accumulating training volume is what is going to drive muscle growth. Volume= sets x reps x weight. The thing is you can do this in a multitude of rep ranges.. Higher reps are obviously easier to accumulate volume but you will also get to a point where muscle growth falls off when a weight gets...
Volume is personal. And also the amount of volume you can tolerate/need to get a training response will increase over time. With that being said I personally don't find it overwhelming but I've ran PHAT for almost two straight years and the amount of volume I've done has increased over time. I...
I haven't taken it in a while but l felt like I got better pumps from glycocarn or gplc. Even better than stacking nitrates glycerol agmatine and citrulline together at high doses.. still get really good pumps though. Anybody feel the same way that has tried both?
